   Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude for the past deeds or acts of God.  The natural man is “need” conscious.  Anytime He has an opportunity to talk to God, He only wants to talk to Him about His needs.  But those who remember to thank God for His past deeds, may never need to talk to Him about their next need.

1 Thessalonians 5:18  (KJV)

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Giving God thanks at all times is critical to living a life of joy and dominion on the earth; a life whereby you are in command of the happenings around you.  A life where you are not a victim of situations and circumstances. A life of Power!

Forgetting to be thankful for what the Lord has done can cause a reversal of your blessings.

5 Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord
     and what his hands have done,
 he will tear them down
     and never build them up again.

As we round up our prosperity teaching this month by focusing on The Seed, it’s important that we understand that there are many types of seeds – your life, (Jesus sowed His life and we are His harvest) your time is a seed, your talents and of course, The Word.  But we for our purposes in this teaching have been focusing on  the money seed.

2 Corinthians 9:10

10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness

It is important that we understand that the Kingdom of God operates by spiritual laws and mysteries and not just by prayer and emotion.

11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand;

There are aspects of the Covenant that you cannot pray your way into.  Money is one of them.  You have to obey your way into it.

There is no abundant life without money in abundance in our lives!  Let’s not try to be too spiritual about it.  Let’s just be real and find out how to get what Jesus died for us to have.  The world has talked us out of it long enough!

12 …Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
