This week on The Winner’s Paradigm Podcast we interviewed Michael Morgan. Michale is a Serial Entrepreneur in which he owns 9 fitness centers in the state of Missouri and is currently under contract for a 10th. Michael was a history teacher for 10 years before he took his leap in Entrepreneurship. Now he even has a vacation home and is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in which he trains other fighters.

Man, Michael gave us knowledge bombs on how to take a leap in entrepreneurship, what to overcome adversity, and so much more. David had an inspirational story where he went to postgraduate school and figured out that he wanted to consult businesses but later found that he wanted to lead a company. With various experiences consulting and leading multiple companies David won a position to become the CEO of Meetup.

Meetup is an astonishing company that allows people to find to break the social anxiety most of us have today and allow us to connect via online or in person events. In this case MeetUP allows you to get in the room with the right people you are looking forward to. Overall, David was an amazing guest who dropped knowledge bombs on leadership. TJ Bell is one of the most impressive people I have met in my life! TJ has been through the tough times in life where his decisions and path early on did not resemble where he wanted to be in life. He developed a drinking problem early on at 15 and even got locked up for 3 months because of his path he was on. She has multiple degrees, licenses, and certifications to better herself for her craft. Initially she planned to stay in HR and move up the company ladder but hit a tough point in her life where she had a sign that it was time to take the leap.

It was an honor to talk to someone who has been through it all and see ways to win and give back to her community. Shavelle is a prime example of what grit and sheer determination are if you want to succeed as badly as you say you want to. The question is are you going to continue to stay mediocre and let life pass you by or are you going to seize the moment and become who you were destined to be?

Shea and I began our friendship while working at a mortgage brokerage. From the get go we understood each other and competed to see who could sell better. As we started to coach each other up and role play on scenarios to get better, we started becoming great friends.

What makes a person want to change their life trajectory?

We were blessed to have Erik Allen on the show for this episode. Erik grew up in a broken home and endured trauma that eventually led him down the path of living a “rockstar” lifestyle. Erik found that he wasn’t who he wanted to be and did not want to continue with the path he was on. He met his wife at the Starbucks he was working at and she convinced him to go to a College Church group where he soon found out that he needed to turn around his life.

This episode is truly powerful and riveting. Erik and I talk on a personal level detailing struggles and instances we had to learn how to deal with unfortunate situations. We both understood at one point that we are not who we wanted to be so we focused on daily tasks to accomplish those.
