This week we continue our conversation with Tyra Rains about living uncommon. She shares with us some of the enemies that can keep us back from living the happily ever after life God has for us. We discuss how we can respond in faith to overcome these enemies to win in life.
This week we welcome our first guest, Tyra Rains, author of the book Virtue: Living Uncommon in a Common World. We discuss that it is God's desire for us to live a "happily ever after" life. This happens as we choose to respond to life situations differently than the average person.

In this episode, Crystal shares how God healed her from stage 4 cancer. The doctors had little hope that she could be healed and gave her 30 days to live, but God gave her a Word from the Bible and completely healed her. She gives details in this testimony that she has never publicly shared before. If you or someone you know needs healing in their bodies we believe this will bring hope and encouragement that nothing is impossible for God. In last week's episode, Jen and Crystal discussed the two types of ground that represent two types of hearts. Neither of these produced good results. Today the discussion continues by looking at the two remaining types of ground. Jesus tells us that only one type of ground or heart produces winning results which is determined by our response to His Word.
Luke 8:4-15 (TLB)
1 Peter 5:7 (NLT) - "Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you."

1 John 2:15-17 (NLT) - "Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever."
Matthew 6:33 (ERV) - "What you should want most is God's kingdom and doing what he wants you to do. Then he will give you all these other things you need."

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You."
In this episode, Jen and Crystal discuss the four types of ground Jesus mentions in scripture. These types of ground represent the condition of a person's heart. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him and committing yourself firmly to Him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, You will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Issac, and Jacob."

Book Reference: This Son of Mine by Malcolm Smith
John 3:16 (AMP) - "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life."
1 John 3:1 (ERV) - "The Father has loved us so much! This shows how much he loved us: We are called children of God. And we really are his children."
Luke 15: 11-17 (ERV) - "Then Jesus said, "There was a man who had two sons. The younger son said to his father, 'Give me now the part of your property that I am supposed to receive someday.' So the father divided his wealth between his two sons. A few days later the younger son gathered up all that he had and left. He traveled far away to another country, and there he wasted his money living like a fool. After he spent everything he had, there was a terrible famine throughout the country. He was hungry and needed money. So he went and got a job with one of the people who lived there. The man sent him into the fields to feed pigs. He was so hungry that he wanted to eat the food the pigs were eating. But no one gave him anything. The son realized that he had been very foolish. He thought, 'All my father's hired workers have plenty of food. But here I am, almost dead because I have nothing to eat. I will leave and go to my father. I will say to him: Father, I have sinned against God and have done wrong to you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But let me be like one of your hired workers.' So he left and went to his father. While the son was still a long way off, his father saw him coming and felt sorry for him. So he ran to him and hugged and kissed him. The son said, 'Father, I have sinned against God and have done wrong to you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.' But the father said to his servants, 'Hurry! Bring the best clothes and put them on him. Also, put a ring on his finger and good sandals on his feet. And bring our best calf and kill it so that we can celebrate with plenty to eat. My son was dead, but now he is alive again! He was lost, but now he is found!' So they began to have a party.
Ephesians 3: 17-20 (TLB) - "And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love; and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God's children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. And so at last you will be filled up with God himself."
