BEYOND THE MASK is set to premiere in theaters on April 6, 2015 and according to Hollywood Reporter is poised to set a record for the largest on-demand theatrical opening.
400 volunteers from the homeschooling community helped Burns Family Studios to create the film which had a $4 million budget and stars John Rhys-Davis (Lord of the Rings trilogy, Raiders of the Lost Ark) as Charles Kemp, Andrew Cheney as William Reynolds, and Kara Killmer (Chicago Fire) as Charlotte Holloway.
About Chad Burns
Chad Burns is a director and actor, known for Pendragon: Sword of His Father (2008) and Beyond the Mask (2015). He has been married to Angela Burns since August 20, 2011.
Chad Burns graduated with his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2011. His research investigated human interaction with remote vehicles and focused on understanding how to design better human-like receding-horizon-control navigation algorithms.
