This half hour+ "quirky" wine pairing show  with Jeff Weissler & Constance Ohlinger ND features four sections and was recorded in mid-late February 2023:

Section 1--Wine & a Movie--A Man Called Otto, featuring Tom Hanks, was preceded by a Swedish version (A Man Called Ove) of which there was a movie and book. 

Section 2--The Forecast-- What cha wanna eat as winter chugs on with Spring not too far away? It's soup time! Get ready for a great easy recipe and wine pairing. 

Section 3--What's Your Sign?--Piscean Pairings. If you're a Pisces we explain how we'd pair wine to you and offer up a few suggestions. 

Section 4--Wine & Health--Lots of goodies from Dr. Ohlinger with "olive oil" front and center which leads us into a discussion on the basics of wine & food pairing.

Wine pairings and conversation get wacky as usual, with lots of educational tidbits thrown in. 

Have you seen The Woman King? Highly recommended. I think I cried eight times. Viola Davis is amazing. We share the story, the history behind the movie and suggest a specific wine to enjoy while watching. One of my favorite films seen in the last year. 

A bunch of time will discuss the Thanksgiving Feast and categorical wine pairings and suggestions. We also did into restaurants to head to for Thanksgiving if you're looking to go out this year!

The Astrology segment is all about the magnetic, passionate, secretive, stubborn style of Scorpions. 

And lastly, Constance Ohlinger ND's Wine & Health segment introduces the healing tonic fire cider. That's an interesting wine pairing conversation! As is all the podcast :)

Episode 3 celebrates the start of Fall, and as the weather transitions, so do our food and wine choices!

4 segments each about 6 minutes in length:

1. Wine & a Movie, where we review a film then pair a wine to enjoy with the movie. In Episode 3, we couldn't find a good movie to go to!!! So, we reviewed and paired to a hot new TV Show--House of the Dragon (The Game of Thrones prequel on HBO).

2.  The Forecast, where we pair wine to the weather and use that as a bridge to talk about what to eat in that weather. Then what restaurants or food carts should we go to to find that food?  For Episode 3, as the Fall is the season, we're talking and pairing apple pie :)

3. What's your sign? It's Astrology and wine pairing time. Libra and a little balance in our lives is the conversational centerpiece.

4. Wine & Health is an opportunity for co-host Constance Ohlinger ND to have center stage and talk about something near and dear. In this case, it's bone broth. Why is that beneficial, and yes we have wine pairings for that :)

For Episode 2, we got a MIC! What a difference. The first episode was a trial, done on an iPhone and we didn't even think we'd use it, but it came out too good!

And lastly, what's the magic wine & food pairings for the dish we're talking about. In Episode 2, it's Ceviche and 2 don't miss spots.

3. What's your sign? It's Astrology and wine pairing time. Virgo is the conversational centerpiece. 

4. Wine & Health is an opportunity for my co-host Constance Ohlinger ND to have center stage and talk about something near and dear. In this case, it's adaptogens. And yes we have wine pairings for that :)
