Episode 2: Stop Being So Nice explores how White people conflate their traumas with their racism as a way to defend their racism rather than address it. Stephen and Sarah also explore how it is the nice White people use niceness to again deflect away associating themselves with Whiteness. The two record this episode at a coffee shop they have codified as "Karen Central." As their discussion about race and Whiteness continues, several White people leave that corner of the coffee shop due to racial tensions that also are explored in the podcast.
