Catherine believes that ageing is a privilege and that older people are one of the most interesting and wonderful cohorts of humans. She also believes that ageism is so culturally entrenched that few can see it in its entirety - and so the strategies to create cultural change had better be very powerful. This led the the art and narratives based approaches now taken by Celebrate Ageing. Stories build empathy and compassion, art engages people interest. Catherine draws on her experiences as a nurse, an aged care worker, an academic and an artist to pull together a unique social enterprise that utilises art and narrative to bridge the knowledge (research) to practice (culture) gap. Natalie Stevens was born into the construction industry. She has lived and breathed it her entire life. Her father started their family construction business in 1967 which evolved over the years into property development.  Today they manage the entire property development supply chain from the purchase of raw land, right through to sales and marketing.  They are one of the few self-made privately owned success stories with a property portfolio valued in excess of $40m.
