Hands down she is one of the reasons why we have AFLW.   Susan is Chair of the Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation, Retired Chair of the St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research Foundation, Director of the Western Health Foundation, Retired Chair of the DANII Foundation, Chair of the Victoria University Foundation, Retired Vice President of the AFL Western Bulldogs Football Club, Director of the Western Bulldogs Forever Foundation, Retired President of the VFL Footscray Bulldogs, Director of the AFL National Women’s League Advisory Group, Retired Director of the National Australia Day Council. Susan is also (Alma Mater) Patron of Siena College Camberwell and Governor of the Siena Philanthropic Society in addition to holding the many honorary philanthropic positions. A Woman of Influence- Carly Findlay Say Hello with Carly... Carly Findlay is an award-winning  writer,  speaker  and  appearance activist. Her first book, a memoir called 'Say Hello,' was released in Australia in January 2019. She is also working on editing 'Growing Up Disabled in Australia' with Black Inc Books. She writes on disability and appearance diversity issues for news outlets including the ABC, The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, and SBS. She was named as one of Australia’s most influential women in the 2014 Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards. She has appeared on ABC TV’s 'You Can’t Ask That' and 'Cyberhate' with Tara Moss, and has been a regular on various ABC radio programs. She has spoken at the Melbourne Writers Festival, the University of Western England and Melbourne University – to name a few. She organised the history-making Access to Fashion – a Melbourne Fashion Week event featuring disabled models. She has a Masters of Communication and Bachelor of eCommerce. A Woman of Influence- Donna Ciccia Look around you. One in Ten Women have Endometriosis. Someone at your workplace is suffering in silence. We need to start talking. "Don't let anyone tell you it's in your head". Donna was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2001 at the age of 31. Donna’s personal experience has motivated her to set up Endometriosis Australia. Her goal is to pay it forward for the next generation of women so that successful treatment and cure can be found. Donna is a Woman of Influence and this is her story.
