It was Manchester United who left it late at the London Stadium on Sunday morning vs West Ham. 2-1 was the final score, but everything seemed to heat up just at the stroke of the 90th minute. Jesse Lingard's eventual winner proved to be the redemption he was looking for after the debacle over the week in the Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo scored again of course. Cristiano Ronaldo is back scoring goals for Manchester United and his brace in United's 4-1 win vs Newcastle was just another example of his greatness. It was a different story mid week in the Champions League opener. It was more than exciting to see Cristiano back in the Theater of Dreams. The Red Devils are top of the league after 4 matches and look to stay that way. This has been the wildest transfer window in my lifetime and it is not even close. City proved their dominance as they put 5 past Norwich City and Liverpool beat Burnley 2-0, the story was Chelsea manhandling Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates in London.
