Excerpts from Today's Sermon

The message reiterates the sermon preached by the Senior Pastor two weeks ago titled 'End of Discussion'.

It describes the difference between the Written Word of God/Bible known as Logos and the Spoken Word of God (delivered by His prophet) known as Rhema.

The LOGOS is for everybody. It generally reveals the ways of God

While..

The RHEMA is for a specific person/people, in a specific season. It gives life to the written word.

The Bible describes Rhema in Hebrews 4:12 AMPC as; "... alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart."

Jesus is the Way- the LOGOS, the Truth -the Divider and the Life- the Rhema. (You might need to listen to the sermon to understand this part)

The Holy Spirit will prompt and instruct you on seasons when you need to hold on to the Written word and when you need to switch to the spoken word delivered by His prophet.

Destiny killers aren't always people; sometimes, it is our thoughts that hold us back from fulfilling destiny. 

Just because something looks right doesn't mean it is God. God has called us to something specific not something that looks right.

We also established that obedience is key. It is too risky to disobey and turn away from the path of destiny because of some personal opinion or reasons.. Not everyone is lucky enough to make it back to the predestined path! It's not just risky, it is costly too!  God could have been referenced as 'God of Abraham, Isaac and Esau', but one decision of Esau removed his name from that lineage and affected a whole generation!

God didn't only call us, raise us, save us just to survive, we are to fulfill destiny.

You make destiny by allowing yourself to be guided. Destiny is always greater than what we are going through. In fact, we can assess how great our destiny is, by the levels of trials that comes our way.

Four kinds of persons you will need to embrace or avoid to make destiny:

4. Embrace destiny instructors Ruth 3:1-4
