Our faith is the evidence of God’s authority in our lives without regard to the trial, the condition, the illness, or the problem. Even when things seem dark and gloomy, God’s promise to “deliver us from evil” is real in spite of our understanding of what He is doing, or where He is taking us. Acknowledge that God is in control no matter the test.
You are a child of God!
So, live in expectation that even when facing death, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!

This morning I tried to catch up with my sleep after having stayed up past 3:00 a.m. Unfortunately, I slept through the time when I normally would have had my morning devotion. By 10:00 am, I had not prayed, and was mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted and weak.
It is when one is weak, tired, sick, overworked, stressed, or impaired, that the enemy can take advantage and disrupt one's peace and comfort. And boy, the devil shot me with both barrels of his disruption-loaded shot gun.

A person with a generous spirit does not give to receive acknowledgement or power. They give from the abundance of what they have been given. Consider how truly blessed we are, when we can generously give from the overflow of what God has so generously given to us.

Those who are the fortunate beneficiaries of a lifetime of their loving benefactors' possession gathering may receive land, jewelry, family keepsakes, money etc. But in many cases, the inheritance comes as a blessing shrouded in potential millstones of estate taxes, property taxes, continued maintenance, probate court, liens, bad tenants, relatives and bill collectors with verified and unverified claims, attorneys, red tape and tons of paperwork. And, because of the nature of our mobile society, the location of the property may become a major issue. Decisions have to be made whether to relocate to live in, or sell the property, or to ignore it so that the inheritance eventually becomes someone else's problem. This may be one of the reasons that Matthew 6:19 states "do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust, destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven....
