    Definition:

to destroy or expend by use; use up; to eat or drink up; devour.
    to destroy,
    to spend resources wastefully.

    Scripture:
Genesis 1:28 (KJV)  "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

Jeremiah 15:16  When I discovered your words, I consumed them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies.

2 Timothy 3:16, ESV: All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,  Thought:   To hear the audible version of this, please click here.

Welcome....to the United States' national season of consumption. We begin with Thanksgiving, followed by Advent, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza and other end-of-the-year celebrations.  During this time of year the rate at which we consume is so notable that it becomes newsworthy.  Newscasters on the major stations, give daily reports on whether retailers have met Black Friday sales projections, how to use our credit wisely, and how to get the most out of travel deals.  The average American's spending is so out of control that we may be still paying off last year's debt, while we create new debt as we try to meet our self-inflicted standards of holiday success.

If you are, by nature, one who consumes to excess, understand that consumption of The Word of God is the most powerful, least destructive, beneficial thing you can do.

The Word of God is the only thing that the more we consume, the better we grow. God Bless You!!Orine Out!!

    Accurate perception; true estimation

Scripture:Romans 12:10 ESV   Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.Philippians 4:8 ESV Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.  Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

  • Word of the Week - INTENTION - 11-13-22

Definition:  Intention is a mental state that represents a commitment to carrying out an action or actions in the future. Intention involves mental activities such as planning and forethought.

Scripture: Proverbs 6:16-19 ESV - "There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."

Ecclesiates 21:10 "The way of sinners is made plain with stones, but at the end thereof is the pit of hell."Thought:   To hear the audible version of this, please

But, under the blessing and power of God, we can all state boldly, who we are, what we will become, what we will do ,and where we are going.  With God, you can declare with confidence, that in the Name of Jesus, you will make your work, your change, your decisions, your plans  your life and all things you are involved with a reality through Christ.  Since scripture assures us that "I Can Do All Things, through Christ, who strengthens me", our failure is related to our ignorance of the importance of employing the strength of God in accomplishing our goals.

Don't keep living your life like a man who intentionally writes another man a good check with disappearing ink.  Make sure He can cash your check anytime into the future, without excuse or regret because you are of a disciple of Christ and a child of God!
    God Bless You!!Orine Out!!

  • Word of the Week - "TRUTH" - November 6,2022

    Definition:
Truth is knowledge, which is the reflection of what things are, which can be positive or negative, good or bad, right or wrong. Truth is not judgmental but factual.

    Scripture:
    John 14:6  KJV -
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:no man cometh
unto the Father, but by me.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (ESV) If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

  • Word of the Week - "COMPLAIN" - 10-30-2022

    Send us Fan Mail

Definition: To express grief, pain, or discontent or to make a formal accusation or charge.

Scripture:James 5:9 – “Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. The Judge is standing at the door and He is listening. Complaining is sinful to God and He will not tolerate sin in any circumstance.

Through my reading I have found five things that occur when we complain:

    1. It stops forward momentum.
    2. It fosters dissatisfaction in others.
    3. It squelches appreciation and fosters judgment.
    4. It becomes a way of thinking.
    5. It becomes your vision and your leadership.

I am going to take the liberty of adding number 6.

It takes your focus off of the sovereignty of God.

    Send us Fan Mail

    Definition:
Validation is recognition or affirmation that a person or their feelings or opinions are valid or worthwhile.

    Scripture:
    Romans 8:31

"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

    Zephaniah 3:17
"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you,but will rejoice over you with singing.”

I admonish you, to make your decisions based on your experience and relationship with God.  Trust, that God will give you the answers and validation you need, whether you are moving across country, going through a life upheaval, or trying to determine if he or she is "The One". • Word of the Week - "RECOVER" - 10/2/2022

    Send us Fan Mail

    Definition:
    1. return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength: 2.  find or regain possession of something stolen or lost:  3. remove or extract an energy source or industrial chemical for use, reuse, or waste treatment:

    Scripture:
    Luke 4: 18-19:   "
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

Deuteronomy 28:31: "Thine ox shall be slaughtered before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof; thine ass shall be snatched away from before thy face, and shall not return to thee; thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to recover them."

"Only those who have something to lose can "recover" what was lost."  W.O.W!

Think about it!  Unless you have good health, or you rent, or own a house, or a car, it is not yours to recover if it is lost, destroyed, or stolen. What is there to be recovered, if you have no possessions? you are unemployed? or if you have no family? The "haves" can recover. The "have-nots," have nothing to recover......

  • Word of the Week - WISDOM - 9.25.22

    Send us Fan Mail

    Definition:
One who has the ability to judge correctly and to follow the best course of action, based on knowledge and understanding.

Scripture:1 Corinthians 3:18: “For what this world considers to be wisdom is nonsense in God's sight."

James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him".Thought:   To hear the audible version of this, please click here

When people see people of a “certain age,” it is assumed that their time on earth has qualified them to be “full of wisdom.”  I am here to tell you, that is simply not so. Wisdom is not age related. Longevity, like wisdom, is a gift from God.

Godly wisdom gives one the ability to see a situation as God sees it; act on it as God wills and learn the lessons that God ordains. Once wisdom is given by God, that person can then be guided in ways that will give them success in the sight of God and Man.
