THE WORD

From Jesus Christ's exclusive declaration for His being the only way to the Father, the truth is declared about the life we are called to live for the glory of His name.

In this brief sermon, the truth of HEBREWS 13:14 is illustrated with some of our world's disasters in 2013. While here in this world we lack sustained and problem free qualities of life, we are looking forward to our future in Christ. May these words encourage true believers to continue representing the world to come.

From Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, in the midst of thousands of people, while riding on a - never been ridden before - colt of a donkey, we can see both His humility and authority at work, as He headed toward the cross.

From the story of Mary - the sister of Martha and Lazarus - pouring out her costly oil upon Jesus' body, the truth is emphasized concerning our place and function in expressing the honor that He is worthy of, as well as our gratitude.

From the legitimate prophecy coming from the High Priest, while plotting Christ's death, we can easily see how God ultimately brings His purposes to pass, even through His enemies.

Knowing Christ as our Savior includes knowing Him as our Resurrection. In this sermon about the raising of Lazarus, Pastor Alan declares the foundation of our hope and faith as being in the person of Jesus, our Death and Resurrection.
