Micah Herbster is joined by Mike Herbster to discuss the layout, purpose, author, and power of the Psalm as well as challenge the listener with the overarching theme of this year's study. The Word is meant to penetrate the heart of God's people and to change lives from the inside out.
Towards the end of the podcast, Micah Herbster shares a quote that sums up the point of this study:
“By holding [the Word] in our hearts is meant not only a knowledge of the word, but an assent to it; not only an assent to it, but a serious and sound digestion of it by meditation; not only a digestion, but a constant respect to it, that we may not transgress it as it is a rule, nor lose it as it is a treasure, but may have it ready and forthcoming upon all occasions.” Thomas Manton
