The Workers Club

The Workers gather to discuss the movie Liberal Arts directed and written by Josh Radnor.  We cover it all Josh Radnor's career, dating and age gaps, how much should one love college, the Zibby of it all, Allison Janney, and Zac Efron as a magical faux stoner.

The Workers are back with news on folks we've covered.  Hulk Hogan's death is a never-ending mystery, who defended Paul Levesque from MVP's insults?  Should Mick Foley wrestle and was Jesse Ventura a SEAL?  Then we continue our discussion of Sean Oliver's The Transfer.  Jason the Son is back, we get a stacked detective and a dancing detective, there's netflix and no chill, and we go to the supermarket.  It's all very stupid.

The Workers are going through it as they continue their discussion of Sean Oliver's The Transfer.  So many plots, so many characters, so much telling and a few dumb sentences.  It's enough to make Trevor tap.  We're halfway through and we have no idea where this is going.  After the book discussion Larry and Wilson listen to some Late Nite Poems and do some pro wrestling talk quick hits.

We continue our discussion of The Transfer against everyone's wishes.  Sean Oliver's choices are discussed as well as Gen Z Friends, manosphere podcasts, and more!  The word of the day is transgressive.  MaMMa Mia!

The Workers get back to discussing Sean Oliver's The Transfer.  We meet The Basement Man and The Ground Man, the main character Laine is having an affair.  The book breaks Larry and he'd like to TRANSFER to a new book, Trevor can only take so much.  This book has no BIM leaving Trevor and Wilson to talk about Euphoria, movies, and what's the name of that one movie that's coming out...Wilson will google it.

We go back to the Sean Oliver Literary Universe.  Does it take place at a school?  Yes.  Is it a "psychological thriller"?  No, it's a "supernatural horror."  Is the movie Funny People discussed?  Not in the book but yes.
