Lying to one's boss for not being at work is a time honored tradition. However, maybe it is time to grow up and be real. However, if you really need to lie, don't use the old "food poisoning" excuse. Way played out. Tell them you had a limb amputated.

When is it time to quit your job?  Right Now!  Go in and tell your boss to go F&ck him/herself!  Take this job and shove it up your ass!  Just make sure you have a solid plan like becoming a famous actor or stand-up comedian.  Be realistic though; it can take weeks to become successful.

It's orifice clean up time on this mini episode of TWE!  You have to look your best this weekend, so you can win the weekend, then die again on Monday morning!

There is a school of thought that advocates making decisions while at one's "peak". You are supposed to pump your fists, spin in circles and jump on a trampoline to get to your peak. And then you make a decision. In reality, a more measured approach is probably best but at some point you do have to write that check and invest in yourself.
