Nope, this is not a remake of the hit show "BJ and the Bear" oddly enough not streaming on Peacock even though it aired on NBC back in the day.

I talk about the 20% rate hike by Peacock only four days after the actors go out on strike that will net NBCUniversal approx $264 million dollars more a year. Who thought that was good timing during 2 labor negotiations? (the writers are on strike too and have been since May)

So very fittingly I also talked this week about the 5 Things Companies Can Do Today To Improve Workplace Environment.

This Week had a late start on my live stream and podcast due to a client update.

First up I love it when my clients cover their investments with me when negotiating a higher salary. In this case, it was almost a threefold ROI and wanted to share the excitement, ok well I wanted to brag online. As my first boss out of university told me "If your not going to toot your own horn nobody will".

Second, we discussed the recent Stanford University study on work-at-home productivity. Did you know that approximately 40% of us work full remote or hybrid jobs now? You would never know it by the traffic here in LA.

Finally we talked about the 5 most asked questions during an interview. There should be no suprises here but for some they are always suprised. I will tell you what those questions are and why some people are thrown off by them.
