This conversation is such a beautiful share from Gaby about her journey from working in the fashion and beauty industry in NYC to following the pings that lead her to study Reiki and herbalism in LA to now running a successful, multi-faceted business. • Ep. 46 😩 Nothing Is Working Like It Used To… And That's Actually Your Advantage

Okay but like… where is your vagina pointing? (yes this is a real question. yes it matters. no we were never taught this.)

I’m chatting with Alissa Alter, pelvic floor specialist, pilates instructor, and former Broadway babe, and we get into EVERYTHING from boobs, burnout, and building a business that actually supports your life. It’s equal parts unhinged (in the best way) and deeply grounding. Like… you will laugh, you will be shocked, and you’ll probably never hear the phrase “neutral pelvis” the same way again.

(trigger warning: breast reduction & surgery talk)

  • Ep. 43 🍋 When Your Body Says "No": Detoxing, Pivoting & Building Sustainable Success with Meghan Swidler
Detox isn't just a buzzword! It's not a juice cleanse, or a heavy-metal cleanse, or a parasite cleanse.   Detoxification is a biological process that's happening in your body 24/7.   I'm joined by Holistic Health and Detox coach Meghan Swidler to talk all things detox... but really, this is a conversation about what happens when your body asks you to change everything. We talk about her shift from a high-performing career in tech into holistic health, how she began supporting her body’s natural detox processes instead of overriding them, and what it looks like to build a business that holds both structure and flow. We also get into her approach to marketing (including how she’s grown on LinkedIn through real connection), and the deeper invitation to pivot when something inside you is asking for more.   Mentioned in this episode:

  • Ep. 42 🌿 How These 2 Genius Businesses Break The Rules & Win Our Hearts

What happens when a biz refuses to follow the rules? (spoiler: really great things).

In this episode, I’m talking about two genius brands I am currently obsessed with ⎯ May Lindstrom Skin and Ffern Fragrance — who break almost every conventional rule of modern biz, and yet… they’re wildly successful.

I explore what happens when a brand commits deeply to its values, its aesthetic, and its experience, rather than trying to optimize for algorithms or growth hacks. These brands feel like a permission slip to remember that there are many ways to build a brilliant business. Sometimes the most powerful strategy is simply caring deeply about what you create and how people experience it.

    Mentioned in this Episode:

    • May Lindstrom Skin
    • May's interview with her husband and COO
    • FFERN
    • EWG's Skin Deep
    • HERETIC Perfume

  • Ep. 41 🔥 Depth Is the Disruptor: Communicating with Sturdy Confidence with Brenne Hali of Self Spoken

If you’ve ever recorded something 17 times because “If I just record it again, it’ll be better. I’ll sound smarter. I’ll love the tone of my voice more. I’ll finally get it right.” Hi, welcome! You’re in the right place!

In this episode, I’m joined by my dear friend Brenne Hali — former theater kid turned communication coach and founder of Self Spoken — and we go deep on visibility, confidence, nervous system regulation, and what it actually takes to communicate with conviction without “faking it till you make it.”

We talk about perfectionism, motherhood, team leadership, self-loyalty, and what it means to build confidence from the inside out, not as performance, but as presence.

If visibility feels stretchy and speaking under pressure makes your body tighten, this one's for you!

  • Ep. 40 📝 The 6 Business Truths I Still Stand By in 2026

“One day when I’m on my deathbed, chances are I’ll still be telling people to…”

This was a prompt given to me in this really cool writing group I'm in (shoutout Tarzan, love you!) and it really got the wheels turning! So much of what I do is dependent on industries and trends and platforms that exist in the now, but on my deathbed (hopefully I'm 105 years old!), everything will have shapeshifted, so what will I still be telling clients to do?

What are my universal truths that transcend industry, platform, methodology, medium?

In this week's episode, I'm diving into timeless truths that transcend trends and sharing the six biz truths I'm still standing by as a biz strategist in 2026!

    I'm talking:

    • Creating what makes you come alive (and trusting that if it moves you, it will move others)
    • Setting intentional boundaries so you don’t build an adrenaline-based biz
    • Firing the editor and spending more time hitting send
    • Pricing your work in a way that actually feels good in your bones
    • Keeping showing up — even when it’s scary AF
    • And running the biz you actually want to run

    Mentioned in this episode:

    • Monday Magic Method
    • The Elevated Retreat (March 7th & 8th in ATX)
    • Sliding Scale 1:1 Biz Strategy Sessions
    • Ep. 39 🌱 Changing Lanes, Taking Risks & How Numbers Can Actually Protect Your Creativity (not kill it) with Emily Bordner

  • Ep. 39 🌱 Changing Lanes, Taking Risks & How Numbers Can Actually Protect Your Creativity (not kill it) with Emily Bordner

Ever feel the nudge to go all in on your side hustle? Before the plan is fully fleshed out, when it's all still messy AF!? Or maybe things are nearly working (!!) and you're getting the hit you need to pivot for things to really click. If you've ever found yourself wondering if it's possible to build a business that honors your creativity, your profit margins AND your peace... this episode is MEDICINE!

I'm chatting with my longtime client and OG biz babe, Emily Bordner, founder of E.B.& Co, who's been turning her vision into an empire (with FOUR retail locations, a thriving wholesale biz, custom manufacturing, and the kind of forecastability most founders only dream of).

Emily shares how she learned to follow the numbers, to walk away from what used to work to make space for what works now, to lead from curiosity, and responsiveness, even when the stakes are high and the pressure is real.

    We dive into:

    • Why following the numbers can actually protect your creativity (not kill it)
    • The moment Emily knew her original biz model wasn’t sustainable, and what she did next
    • The power of pivoting without making it mean you “failed”
    • Self-bossing™, time boundaries, nervous system care, and putting the body before the biz
    • Writing and publishing a book just for the joy of it, and why done is better than perfect
    • Why enthusiasm, generosity, and play are powerful leadership tools

This conversation is such a grounded reminder that success doesn’t come from rigidity, but from agility. Emily is living proof that you can grow something meaningful, profitable, and deeply YOU, without burning yourself to the ground.

  • Ep. 38 📓 Raised Outside the System: How Unschooling Made Me Allergic to Mediocrity

This episode, I'm answering the questions I get asked quite often, especially now as a mama:

"Did you like growing up homeschooling?" (Well, unschooling, actually. Google it!)

“How did you go to college/make money/not become a reclusive weirdo?”

I share about = how that single, radical choice (shoutout to my brave parents 👋) shaped literally eeeverything about how I live, work, parent and lead now.

No bells. No grades. No tests. I did make my mom buy me a locker tho, so my school was "real". Bc OBVI a locker = true education.

Growing up unschooling gave me the keys to my education and taught me how to be the boss of my own life before I had my first "real job". It showed me what it meant to follow my curiosity, trust my instincts, and build my life around desire instead of obligation. It taught me how to self-boss™ long before I ever ran a biz.

It made me a rule-questioner. A self-trusting, joy-prioritizing, curiosity-fueled little freaky freak, and eventually, an entrepreneur with a strong inner compass. I know it's not for everyone (nor does everyone have the access/priveledge to do so), but I get asked.

    We dive into:

    • What unschooling actually is, and what it isn’t
    • Why the traditional school system was never meant to support creativity, agency, or aliveness
    • The complicated paradox of educational privilege (especially now that I’m the one making decisions for my kiddo)
    • How being unschooled shaped my nervous system, my biz, and my obsession with doing things my own damn way (Virgo much?)
    • The Workwomb flavor of self-leadership — gentle, intuitive, built around capacity, not performance
    • The unschooler-to-entrepreneur pipeline (aka why so many of us become biz owners)
    • Rebossing + reparenting yourself after years of trying to fit in boxes you were never meant for

If you’ve ever felt like the world wasn’t built for your brain…

If you’ve ever been the one asking “why do we do it this way?” while everyone else shrugs…

If you’re in the thick of remembering who you were before the world told you who to be…

This episode is for you! Come curl up with me. This one’s truthy. This one’s a love letter to the part of you that’s always known there was another way.
