Just 70 years ago this was a church building in North Korea It was destroyed by communists All kind of torturing and killing happened inside this church building The history actually of this church goes back before the Communists took overWhen Japan was ruling here and the pastor of this church refused to participate in shrine worship the pastor was martyred So right behind me is a picture of faithful saints who over the last century worshiped Christ here and paid for it with their lives Its a reminder of church buildings like this all across North Korea They estimate there are 3800 church buildings in North Korea -- all of which are destroyed or some are used as Communist training facilities
