A message from Pastor Benjy Simmons of Gathering Community Church in Surfside Beach, SC.
"A Disciple - Calculating The Cost"
Luke 14:25-35
What Is A Disciple?
A learner, A follower, One expressing union with, Likeness, Going in the same direction as it's teacher.
What is Discipleship?
It is getting to the point of What Christ Is.
It means to be a duplicate.
Three Conditions Of Discipleship:
1. To Love One's Cross
2. To Bear One's Cross
3. To Forsake All
Counting The Cost
1. Verses 28-30 - A Parable Of A Tower,
2. Verses 31-32 - A Parable Of A Battle
One man said, "If He is not Lord of all, then He is not Lord at all"
Is there an area of your life unfinished?
Are you living in Defeat?
Will you become His Disciple?
