He has been named "One of the 35 most influential people in financial services," and has been inducted into the Financial Planning Magazine Hall of Fame. Yep, there's a financial planning hall of fame. Erica and Jordan were thrilled to have George Kinder on the podcast.
Erica and Jordan used his book and website to change their life trajectory. His books and training are all about freedom — and who doesn't like the sound of that? For 30 years, he was a practicing financial planner and tax advisor where he developed and honed the methodology for sparking the torch in his clients. A torch that leads them to live the life they want, now. As a financial planner, he then figures out how to make the money work.
Internationally recognized as the father of Life Planning. He took the time out of his new book launch, his 4th book, to sit with them.
Get excited as George distills the small actions you can take to start living your ideal day, or life, now.

"What am I doing with my life?"
This is the question Erica has been asking herself since, well, graduating college. And one she could never really answer, until now. What helped her finally get there? The questions in the financial life planning process.
The financial life planning process helped Jordan and Erica actually set money and life goals they cared about, rather than only focusing on the standard money goals we're all told we should have (buying a home, taking an annual vacation, and saving for retirement). Not only that, it helped them to take immediate action and stop waiting for someday. Because creating a life that you want takes money, time, a little bit of knowledge, and a whole lot of action.
Join them as they chart a completely new course and work to live a life that's better than fine.
In this episode, they go through their experience with life planning, give you some tips on how you can get started (if you choose), and talk about specific changes they've made with their money since.
One big caveat here: they're just at the beginning of this journey. Will it work? Will they actually achieve these big things they want to do with their life? Or will they flop and totally embarrass themselves?
