Much like the 1998 hit, 'Turn back time' by Aqua, that this film is based on, today's episode explores themes of turning back time, general time travel theory and the regret of missed opportunities. It also stars Tom Cruise as a bumbling, useless civilian in the midst of a war against advanced wibbly wobbly aliens called mimics. Like a sci-fi cross between groundhog day and blackadder goes forth it's got incredible action scenes that they must have saved a fortune on only filming once and then repeating 6 or 7 times throughout the film. Long before anyone had uttered the phrase, 'gritty realism', Batman fans were making do with the fantastical, gothic world of Tim Burton. A world where supervillains could only get their powers from animals. Where Batman's 'no kill' rule didn't extend to using his car engine as a flamethrower at point blank range. A world that gave cinemagoers the maximum amount of Shrek they would see on a screen until Shrek 1. We're back baby! Menacing some phantoms in part two of our drunken retelling of the Phantom Menace. You've waited a whole week for this. We left the story with one of the jedis having just won a young boy via gambling. In part two we finally meet the sinister Darth Maul on his weird, little chav scooter, there's wars on planets, there's wars in the stars, there's lightsabers and a weird room of force fields.
