Coming up to this weekend's first NJPW cards with fans post pandemic, Dustin & Jason sit down to discuss a brief introduction to a key difference between New Japan & other promotions... THE FACTIONS! New Japan's factions are integral to their cards, rivalries, and how the promotion runs. We cover each faction with a brief description so you have some help getting plugged in if you're a first time viewer of New Japan. A great starting point is their free card from July 3, 2020 which is the set up for this weekend's New Japan Cup Final & Dominion cards.
After how deservedly serious last week's episode was... we cut all the way loose this week. We come in hot with the next bracket of the Wrestling Belt Challenge. To see the belts that we're discussing if you're unfamiliar with them, the photos are on our social media. From there we preview tonight's Wednesday Night Wars between NXT/AEW by giving predictions for both brand's card. Next up we discuss Impact Wrestling and their potential signings and the lead up to their Slammiversary show, before then covering several key pieces of news for New Japan. Don't forget as always to contact us with any questions in the wrestling industry that you'd like us to cover, or shows that you would like for us to review.
Today we have a different type of episode to bring to you. Due to the #SpeakingOut movement impacting the wrestling world over the past week, we've decided to make that the focus of this week. There were even more announcements that occured while recording this for you. We try to address this topic in the most respectful fashion possible and if you want more details than we provide, you're more than welcome to search. What we do ask is that we all respect each other, do not take liberties with other people, and your rights matter and you should always speak out when truly wronged.
Oh yes we're back! This week we come in with our review on the week in AEW, the return of New Japan Pro Wrestling, an update on the upcoming July Impact Wrestling pay per view, and we also discuss the Bullet Club. And based off of the enjoyment that we had doing our wrestling theme tournament back in March, we debut our wrestling championship belt tournament this episode. If you're unfamiliar with the belts that we reference, we're going to give you a visual aid on each of our social medias, showing you the breakdown of the belts we're covering each week.
After a week off, we're back and bringing the heat with a scorching review of NXT: In Your House, then moving on to AEW where we deliver a strict criticism towards one of the group's favorite wrestlers, then we spend a little time with Impact Wrestling & the National Wrestling Alliance, and then finally conclude with some breaking news in the world of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Please subscribe, share, and rate 5 stars on your Apple Devices and thank you for listening!
We're fresh off a hot AEW Double or Nothing Pay Per View, and Brother Manny from our sister show, The Unconquered Era podcast, sits in with us for a little bit to discuss the show. We give our full rundown of the card and then transition into a brief trip to WWE and then a break down of NWA's SuperPowerrr event from a few weeks ago as well as touching on their new wave of content that is called CarnyLand! Today our episode is in memory of the late Shad Gaspard and the loss of the legend Owen Hart 21 years ago. We start today's program with a tribute to Shad, then we do go into current wrestling briefly with a preview of this weekend's All Elite Wrestling pay per view. We transition from there to our discussion of the season finale of Vice's Dark Side of The Ring, covering Owen Hart. We hope you all have perspective from our discussion and watch that documentary and the follow up interviews that Martha Hart has done in recent weeks and make your own decisions.
We're back with another hot off the presses edition of The Wrestling Gauntlet with a review of the WWE Money in the Bank event, a very intense criticism of another WWE product, thoughts on episode 1 of the Undertaker documentary The Last Ride, and then we also tackle AEW Dynamite, and then quick updates on ROH, NWA, and NJPW. Last but not least, we have a couple questions out of our wrestling mailbag! Join us on our journey by following us on social media @UnconqueredEra and giving us a share, a like, and rating our podcast 5 stars on Apple Podcasts!
After a week away, the #WrestlingGauntlet returns with another week of hot content including reviews of the week in WWE & AEW, but we return with coverage also of Impact Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, and also updates on scheduling for Ring of Honor & New Japan. Lastly we touch on the milestone of David Arquette becoming WCW World Heavyweight Champion 20 years ago.

We start this week's episode finishing our wrestling theme song bracket and finally declaring a champion. Then from there this episode takes a more serious turn than usual as we examine the outside of the ring activity involving the last week of WWE, the Jimmy Snuka episode of Dark Side of the Ring, and also a brief update on All Elite Wrestling. Also don't forget to go back to earlier in the week to our archives for our chat with Joe Galli of the National Wrestling Alliance.
