In our first episode, we talk to Jana Carlson, who walks us through the call and responsibility of the Christian writer. We look at the power of words according to God's Word and then explore what this means for us as writers and Christian communicators. Branding is simply a shortcut for the brain. What do other people think and say about you when you’re not in the room? That’s your brand. Our brands are made up of hundreds of interactions online that engage the mind, eye, and heart. Use these elements to your advantage in establishing your own online presence and brand. Cara will lead us this week in developing our own brand strategies. We’ll look at our brand’s purpose, the problems we solve, and how we present ourselves on our websites.

Writing from the overflow of the heart means the words we offer others have originated in the reservoir of our own soul, from our communion with God, not from our effort to produce.  Space will share how fellowship with Christ is the fountainhead from which we quench our own thirst, and invite others to quench theirs.  We, as writers, are to be conduits of His grace, wisdom, hope, joy, etc., yet we cannot channel to others what we haven't first received.  Come ready to be encouraged to become filled to overflowing.
