Washington puts up some resistance, Leach bowls a peach and England put enough runs on the board to tee themselves up for a final push through the Indian order.

Dom Bess has a day to remember, pilfering the big middle order guns of Kohli, Rahane, Pujara & Pant as India finish 6 down and with much work to do on the 4th day. The cricket content drive continues for team TWU with Bertie and Ollie are here to examine England's rather good performance on a pitch which is by no means ragging square as yet and assess some phenomenal hitting from young Rishabh. 🇮🇳🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿2️⃣ 1st Test. Day 2. India come back with a vengeance. Well not really. It was England who returned with yet more impressive batting, and Ollie, Max, Sach and Bertie give you the rundown of everything the day had to offer. 

We're here for the second course in a potential 20 course meal of daily podcasts. So if we were in a posh tasting menu we're still in the canapes. Much like this Test match as everything is about to get interesting. England post 555-8 at the close of play and soon it will be the job of Virat Kohli's men to try and match it on a pitch resembling the main road from Chennai to Bengaluru. Then we can all celebrate a draw.

India vs. England lies glistening on the horizon as England have gone through their paces with a competent showing in Galle led by an irrepressible Joe Root. A substitution comes in today as level-headed India expert Sach is replaced by Max, leading to far more chaos, and honestly the most variable quality of content we've ever produced. The fine line between complete guff and bold thinking is frequently leapt over further than Jonathan Edwards in his pomp.

With Sach out, and an India heavy tilt the past few weeks, the focus today is very much on England. Spinners, potential top order fragility and the unageing Broad and Anderson. Also, whilst we're on great pairs, who would make the best cricketing tag team wrestling duo?

💥Wow, wow, wow. A whole *checks watch* 8 days after it came to its thrilling conclusion we are finally here to run through India's stunning victory over Australia with the finest of tooth combs. Gill, Pant, Pujara, Thakur, Washington, Siraj. Heroes every last one of them as India power through at the Gabba with even more aplomb than Britain's rapid vaccine rollout. Shouts to both the civil service and Aussie comms somehow still demanding that Cheteshwar play with more 'intent' for spurring on both those results.

Sach has finally calmed down and there's almost *too* much narrative to tuck into. Captaincy questions everywhere, sheer Indian depth, Gabba defeat and captain questions for both sides. Ollie, Sach, Cracknell and Bertie with you this week for a full hour of India-Australia chat. 🇿🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿What a week! It's vaccine day in the UK and the cricket winter is in full swing as tours commence left, right and center. India head to Australia and the Kiwis welcome West Indies, but our focus today is England in South Africa. A national lockdown has meant there's been cricket watching time aplenty for Max, Bertie and Ollie and as England's momentum for the T20MWC continues South Africa are stopped right in their tracks. Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Bloody Indians. They're a bit good that lot. Off the back of a record breaking season in the IPL we simply have to bask in their unremitting greatness for half an hour and soak in this year's final. Expect acclaim for Boult and Bumrah, the openers, middle order and everything which makes up the complete T20 team. With that Matt, Ollie, Sach and Bertie reflect on a dull but impressive IPL 2020 final, ponder the 'Official' IPL 2020 Awards (sponsored by TWU) and Sach wrestles with whether the rearing of Kohli Jr. is worth the trade off when the hopes of 1.36 billion Indians are at stake.
