What an honor to have such a fascinating and remarkable guest on this week! Nissim Black is an African American rapper from Seattle who converted to Orthodox Judaism, moved to Jerusalem, took a deep dive into the Torah and Jewish life (which includes having a gaggle of delightful offspring) and is still making music! We talk about everything. Literally. What an inspiring and interesting individual, don't miss this ep!!

I decided to let Rae Lynn take a break and interview old friend and brilliant playwright Dan O'Brien as myself. An esteemed playwright and poet, Dan's recent work includes "Our Cancers" which revolves around the fact that Dan got diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer RIGHT after his wife got over Breast Cancer. Dan and I talk about art and trauma, toxic positivity, magical thinking, support systems, faking power point and how I used to print out every email I got and file it when I was a young clueless temp. The conversation has been edited. Share and subscribe.

I just got back from Paris people. Good stuff.

What an honor to interview JOEY SORGE who is starring on Broadway in MJ the musical! We dive into his illustrious career (7 Broadway musicals!!) juggling parenthood and theatre schedules, drama on set, meeting a buttload of celebrities and much more!!

What a festive chat with brilliant and charming comic Rachel Feinstein. I learn what its like to be married to a fireman, wearing heels on stage, the monkey dance, going on the road with Jessica Kirson, Broadchurch and more!

I talk to my hero and star of Orange is The New Black, actor extraordinaire, Taylor Schilling. Our festive convo runs the gamut from acting school dramaaaaa to sexuality to Pamela and Tommy Lee, and much more!

Shooting the shite with Hebrew Hammer director Jonathan Kesselman, who relocated to Ireland a few years ago.

Our chat runs the gamut, from his experience with Benzos, the seeming lack of "alcoholism" in Ireland (yeah, right...) and more! Super fun convo. www.xraepod.com
