STEVEN A LACHANCE - Haunted Survivor Tour - Steven founded Missouri Paranormal Research and co-founded the Paranormal Task Force after living through an extreme haunting himself along with his family and friends. Steven developed the idea of The Humanistic Approach to investigation in order to help others. In July of 2007, Steven left MPR and PTF to pursue independent endeavors, but is still very proud of both organizations today. Steven's focus is on extreme, private hauntings. These investigations are typically dangerous and intense in nature with either an individual or a family endangered by a demon. He has successfully investigated and concluded many such cases because of his personal background in extreme hauntings, the network of investigators he has developed over the years and upon whom he relies for back up and/or advice, and his compassion for people. He is frequently called upon to speak about various investigations he was involved in, and he has also been a featured guest on several radio stations across the US, the UK, Canada, and parts of South Africa. Steven is not a stranger to television interviews either and has had many interviews with him published in newspapers and magazines across the US. In October of 2006, "Fear House" premiered as the first show of the third season of the Discovery Channels, "A Haunting." This show featured Steven and the story of the Union Haunting. Steven has also been included in two Booth Brother documentaries, "Children Of The Grave" and "The Possessed." Steven's first book "The Uninvited" was released by Llwellyn Worldwide in September of 2008 to critical acclaim. Steven has numerous other writing projects that he is currently working on. Steven has been a Talk Show Radio Host and Executive Producer. He is a top notch interviewer that has been admired by some of the best. He also uses these skills on the weekly paranormal talk show with Denice Jones called, "Haunted Survivor." Steven's interest in the paranormal is a fluke. By all common standards he lived a perfectly normal life until he and his three children moved into an extremely haunted and dangerous house. This haunting is factual and has been well documented. Steven has appeared on numerous television and radio programs. His writings have appeared in books, newspapers, and magazines. His stage credits as a stage actor are numerous. X Minus One was a half-hour science fiction radio series broadcast from April 24, 1955 to January 9, 1958 in various timeslots on NBC. Initially a revival of NBC's Dimension X (1950-51), X Minus One is widely considered among the finest science fiction dramas ever produced for radio. The first 15 episodes were new versions of Dimension X episodes, but the remainder were adaptations by NBC staff writers, including Ernest Kinoy and George Lefferts, of newly published science fiction stories by leading writers in the field, including Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Frederik Pohl and Theodore Sturgeon along with some original scripts by Kinoy and Lefferts. Episodes of the show include adaptations of Robert Sheckley's "Skulking Permit," Bradbury's "Mars Is Heaven," Heinlein's "Universe" and "The Green Hills of Earth", " Pohl's "The Tunnel under the World," J. T. McIntosh's "Hallucination Orbit," Fritz Leiber's "A Pail of Air" and George Lefferts' "The Parade." The series was canceled after the 126th broadcast on January 9, 1958. However, the early 1970s brought a wave of nostalgia for old-time radio; a new experimental episode, "The Iron Chancellor" by Robert Silverberg, was created in 1973, but it failed to revive the series. NBC also tried broadcasting the old recordings, but their irregular once-monthly scheduling kept even devoted listeners from following the broadcasts. All episodes of the show survive.

Considering her stature and personal comportment today, those who are not privy to her personal beginnings may think that she, Soledad Muesco Manaay, was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Fact is, just the opposite is true. Born in poverty in a Philippine town no one has heard of, she rose to become a successful entrepreneur and a published writer by way of her personal struggles, hard work and perseverance. She is a classic example of what a plucky, self-made woman is. Her journey began when she was accepted as a student at San Ramon Catholic School in Suay, Himamaylan. This school is very special indeed being run by Irish Augustinian Orders who taught their students how to speak without the usual "sing-song" accent prevalent among the natives of the Negros Occidental Province. Even then, Soledad showed academic and leadership qualities as well as artistic prowess. She was the yearly school valedictorian from kindergarten until she graduated from that institution, as well as the yearly class president and member of the school's drama, dance and singing clubs. Through hard work, courage, inherent intelligence and perseverance, she was assigned as Media Attaché to the US in 1980's. She was in her early 20's. Four years later, she resigned and worked at the Office of the Mayor of Honolulu Hawaii. At an early age, Soledad discovered the magic she can create through the written words. She has been writing poetry and short stories and also wrote for her college journal. In 1987, she co-published and edited a community newspaper in Honolulu, Hawaii where she also worked as a freelance columnist, a radio and television personality and a real estate broker. She became a United States citizen in mid 1980's. In 1997, she moved to California, where she now lives with her daughter, Solitaire and their Terrier, Bebe. She worked as Executive Director of Glenwood In n, an assisted living community in Menlo Park prior to establishing CARE ON CALL, Inc., a senior care giving agency. Soledad has two bachelor's degrees, has pursued graduate and law studies and has worn many hats as a business and community leader. She is now completing her Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology with Focus on Gerontology. She continues to improve her writing skill by attending writing classes and workshops. She has several completed manuscripts and a screenplay (she has taken script writing classes at Stanford University and the San Francisco Writing Salon)and has adapted a few of her stories into screenplay. Although she writes for personal enjoyment, Soledad truly believes in the commercial value of her written work and its salability. She hopes to become a full time novelist/ screenplay writer, and for the world to, someday soon, enjoy her literary work. - www.themagicpondbook.com
