Both books were highly praised by the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Fortune, New Yorker and other publications. Note: The Incursion has been revised and just released as The Seventh Level. Hanson's articles have appeared in California Magazine, Omni, CoEvolution Quarterly, and the Whole Mind Newsletter. X Minus One was a half-hour science fiction radio series broadcast from April 24, 1955 to January 9, 1958 in various timeslots on NBC. Initially a revival of NBC's Dimension X (1950-51), X Minus One is widely considered among the finest science fiction dramas ever produced for radio. The first 15 episodes were new versions of Dimension X episodes, but the remainder were adaptations by NBC staff writers, including Ernest Kinoy and George Lefferts, of newly published science fiction stories by leading writers in the field, including Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Frederik Pohl and Theodore Sturgeon along with some original scripts by Kinoy and Lefferts. Episodes of the show include adaptations of Robert Sheckley's "Skulking Permit," Bradbury's "Mars Is Heaven," Heinlein's "Universe" and "The Green Hills of Earth", " Pohl's "The Tunnel under the World," J. T. McIntosh's "Hallucination Orbit," Fritz Leiber's "A Pail of Air" and George Lefferts' "The Parade." The series was canceled after the 126th broadcast on January 9, 1958. However, the early 1970s brought a wave of nostalgia for old-time radio; a new experimental episode, "The Iron Chancellor" by Robert Silverberg, was created in 1973, but it failed to revive the series. NBC also tried broadcasting the old recordings, but their irregular once-monthly scheduling kept even devoted listeners from following the broadcasts. All episodes of the show survive.

Selene is a life-long seeker who has studied many aspects of spirituality, metaphysics and healing. As a very sensitive, empathic child, she could recall past lives and regularly communicated with spirit guides and devas. An only child for her first seven and a half years, this behavior was normal to her and although her parents did not encourage her wild imagination, they did not discourage her and accepted that she was able to perceive energies and communicate with beings that were not physically visible. Both parents and her adoring Aunt were highly psychic themselves so they recognized this about her but it was not so mundane or accepted in those days. Her father loved the horse races and encouraged her psychic abilities from an early age when she began picking winners for him. She could read the racing form before she started school and was rewarded for her correct predictions with the winnings from the bets her Dad placed based on her intuitive choices. She wishes she had that kind of luck with gambling now as well as a sponsor to put the money up for her too… Throughout her teens and on into her early twenties, she studied astrology, philosophy, world religions, reincarnation and herbal healing, while pursuing her degrees in Social Sciences and in Accounting. She also has a background in business and worked in publishing for over a decade at a local newsweekly and a renowned metaphysical magazine. She began studying Astrology in 1973 and still works at expanding her knowledge of this vast subject. In 1982 she devoted herself to mastering the Tarot which brought in much deeper levels of knowledge and information. She completed a two year intensive Clairvoyant training program even though she was already firmly established in her career as a busy professional psychic. She has read for tens of thousands of people from all walks of life. With devotion, hard work and decades of practice, Selene has manifested her dream, becoming an accomplished and highly sought after Professional Psychic, Astrologer, Author, Spiritual Healer, Teacher and Metaphysical Minister. She loves being Rev. Selene on the weekends when she is thrilled to officiate at weddings where she creates a unique and personalized ceremony for each happy couple. - www.psychicselene.com
