An Air France jet carrying 228 people from Rio to Paris is missing, and officials say it may have run into lightning and strong thunderstorms over the Atlantic Ocean. Brazil has begun a search and recovery mission off its northeastern coast, and have found some floating debris they are trying to positively link with the missing plane. If all 228 people were killed, it would be the worst commercial airline disaster since 2001. Longtime international commercial pilot DJ Frost can give your viewers and listeners the inside-the-cockpit perspective. He is a South Florida based pilot with 29 years experience in the air (including many as a Captain for U.S. Airways), and has extensive media training. He currently flies international routes from the tip of South America to hot spots in the Middle East. Frost recently flew the exact route for Air France from Brazil to Paris as the currently missing plane. He has actually piloted a flight that was struck by lightning, and saw the fireball come through the cockpit and down the passenger aisle of the plane. Frost is rated on the Airbus 320, Boeing 737, 757 and 767 along with the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, and is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Frost is also a DISC certified human behavior consultant who specializes in human personality factors, important for flight crew coordination and cockpit resource management. This would give him a unique outlook on what the pilots, crew and passengers may have encountered on this flight. He has appeared on FOX NEWS CHANNEL, Westwood One, Radio America, America Tonight, KGO, WLW, Coast To Coast AM, WFLA, CKNX, WJFK FM, Talk Radio Network and many more.

The Paranormal is a general term that describes unusual experiences that lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure. In parapsychology, it is used to describe the potentially psychic phenomena of telepathy, extra-sensory perception, psychokinesis, ghosts, and hauntings. The term is also applied to UFOs, some creatures that fall under the scope of crypto zoology, purported phenomena surrounding the Bermuda Triangle, and other non-psychic subjects. Stories relating to paranormal phenomena are found in popular culture and folklore, but the scientific community, as referenced in statements made by organization such as the United States National Science Foundation, contends that scientific evidence does not support paranormal beliefs. - www.enchantmenthouse.ca

In her youth Poppy Lynn was always 'seeing' things that other people did not - some might call them 'ghosts' or 'spirits', but whatever they were, they had a strange reality of their own, and it was of benefit to her to pay heed to the things they said and the 'signs' that were placed before her. Poppy Lynn was fortunate to have the support and encouragement of her friends and family. All too often, special abilities like this can be branded as 'evil' by the superstitious. But for Poppy Lynn they are a natural, healthy and vibrant part of life. Over time, Poppy Lynn learned different ways of tapping into her own intuition. For years Poppy Lynn was an 'amateur' helping out friends who were in need, but always feeling that she could do more and do it for more people. In the past few years, the universe has conspired (yes, it seems to do that!) to make a full-time endeavour of helping people with her gifts. Poppy Lynn now regularly offer readings and consultations to people all around the Golden Horseshoe area of Ontario (and beyond!). Poppy Lynn became a regular featured tarot reader at the monthly "Mystic Spas" hosted by the All is Well Bookshop in Oakville. After that shop closed, Poppy Lynn took over the operation of the Mystic Spa from Sheilane, and now host Spas at various locations around Burlington and Oakville, helping other talented people to share their gifts with the world. Part of Poppy still feels quite modest, almost embarrassed, to hear people 'praising' her so highly. But it pleases her more to know that what she offers to people is so helpful in their lives. In addition to her years of experience as a tarot reader and psychic, she's had the chance to work and volunteer in areas of mental health, various aspects of personal and group counseling (including bereavement counselling) and in palliative care. Poppy Lynn also practices Therapeutic Touch, and is a registered member of the Therapeutic Touch Network of Ontario. Poppy Lynn is a labyrinth facilitator, and worked on the municipal committee to construct the Central Park Labyrinth in Burlington. One of Canada's first fully-accessible public outdoor labyrinths - www.poppylynn.com and www.mysticspa.ca .

We shared the power of using plants to heal with Eliot Cowan on tonight's show. This noted author of "Plant Spirit Medicine: The Healing Power of Plants" is an expert on Huichol Indian tradition and plant spirit medicine healing. He discussed how to reconnect and heal by establishing a deeper relationship with the natural world and ourselves though plant spirit medicine, an indigenous healing modality. "Humans and plants have shared this planet for eons. We are family. Using our plant kinship as medicine can nurture and heal us in a spiritual and transformative manner. All we need to do is listen and the plants talk back to us, and they tell us of their medicinal properties. If we listen, we shall hear." Cowan will shared the process of plant spirit medicine and how this communication was the likely originating basis of herbal medicine. - www.bluedeer.org

Douglas James Cottrell is a Canadian psychic or trance clairvoyant, healer and author. A writer and journalist once referred to Douglas as "the only authenticated successor to the Edgar Cayce phenomenon." Often, Douglas's Deep Trance Meditation style is compared to that of Edgar Cayce, one of the most-documented intuitives of our century. In fact, the media has dubbed Douglas, "Canada's Edgar Cayce." Douglas is among a select few who are able to genuinely demonstrate a variety of different mental/spiritual abilities: remote viewing, clairvoyance, prediction, prophecy, communication with disembodied souls, dream interpretation, aura seeing and interpretation, and spiritual healing. Yet Douglas is quite humble when discussing these amazing abilities. He asserts that anyone can learn to express such abilities themselves, to varying degrees. Premonition, precognition, prediction and prophecy all represent various creative aspects of the human Soul. To read how Douglas learned to develop these abilities - www.douglasjamescottrell.com
