Andrew Calimach's early years were spent under the Ceausescu dictatorship in Romania. He came away from that experience with a healthy distaste for censorship, which informs his studies as well as his politics. He divides his time between New York and Bucharest, and continues his studies and writing. In researching Lovers' Legends, he devoted three years to collect the ancient texts in translation, and traveled to Italy, England, Austria, Greece and France to gather the artwork for the book. His fluency in five languages was a great help to him in compiling sources for the book. In order to fully bring the stories to life, Calimach then brought in Agnes Lev, the noted Israeli director, who worked intensely over the space of six months with the author, the reader of the stories, the musician and the engineer in order to discover the dramatic essence of the stories and to render them in a way that honors the ancient theatrical tradition of the Greeks. Calimach is an independent scholar who writes on gender studies and other social issues, and runs workshops on the gay Greek myths. - http://www.haidukpress.com/LLU/Lovers_Legends_Unbound.html

Born in Rhodesia now living in South Africa has always had a passion for the unexplained. Two critical life experiences, one a mass UFO sighting, the other a near death experience, were determining factors for a research basis that would be very different to that of academics. His investigation into subjects like astronomy, the pyramids and ancient paranormal events, would culminate in an unrelenting quest for knowledge about humanity's origins. With the emergence of the daring new theory that the Giza pyramids represented Orion, Herschel felt compelled to determine whether pyramid/star correlations were true for all the pyramids. And if so, why? This would bring to fruition one of the most convincing books ever on "who we are and where we come from". - www.thehiddenrecords.com

Erik has lived in the Austin area for around twenty years. Attended A.C.C. and the University of Texas where Erik studied Management of Information Systems. During College, he started my own computer consulting business called StarBlazer Enterprises, Inc. For about seven months in 1998, Erik was working as a production and sound engineer for KJFK 98.9 FM. His journey thus far has also led him to fascinating research concerning what would be considered paranormal phenomena. It works like this: Let's say that the Internet is a technological tool which is preparing us for the time when we may reach a possible next stage in our evolution. That being, controllable and repeatable telepathic contact throughout the whole population, thus a networked, not a collective consciousness. When he came up with the Idea, he not only did research, but Erik started testing the waters for reactions which were for the most part, positive. His research went to other fields such as remote viewing, psychokinetic's, telepathy, etc. Because of it, he has been called on for remote viewing and analysis consultations. This gave him a wild, but logical idea. If remote viewing or intuitive sensation can be refined into a reliable skill, why not use it as an aide for the purpose of design and troubleshooting of technology and related issues? Well, the answer is in additional research. To facilitate this, Erik has formed an organization to look into intuitive sensation. The organization or think tank is called the SYNERGY RESEARCH CONSORTIUM. http://www.realtime.net

In Cosmic Connection (Weiser Books, April 2009) spiritual teacher Carole Lynne makes a bold departure from her previous books and shares the story of her own growing revelation of the interconnected, interplanetary, cosmic energy that flows around and through us all, that is, indeed, the stuff we are made of. Readers will experience Carole Lynne's journey of a lifetime as she goes into an altered state of consciousness and brings messages from "My Guidance" and "The Energy" and receive a glimpse into the nature of the spiritual forces that have created us and continue to manifest life. Evolution is not over! The future of our world depends on our abilities to evolve in a positive way: to let go of our egos, to realize that we are not separate beings, and to evolve to a consciousness that finds poverty, pollution, and war unthinkable. We are responsible for the future. We need to move away from "me, me, me" and toward "us." Carole Lynne writes: "As we focus on the internal, we will realize we are all One. Only then will we make substantial changes. Only then will we manifest our power and use that power for the good of One. As our thoughts become less self-centered, our actions will change. We will put our personal preferences aside in order to live a better life for the One." - www.carolelynne.com
