How well are our national security measures working? Maureen Webb says the latest incident in Times Square shows the surveillance systems that have been implemented since 9/11 are affecting ordinary citizens but not real terrorists. "Tragedy in Times Square was averted not by the 82 cameras monitoring the streets in the area, but by an alert citizen who called the police and got the bomb squad there. The break in the case came, not from some futuristic data mining program, but through old-fashioned police work. Had an old-fashioned all-points alert been relied on to close the borders to the suspect, it might have worked better than the no-fly system with its swollen list, said to contain at various times between 44,000 and 1,000,000 names." Webb says the list has become so unwieldy it can't work in an urgent situation. Webb's book is "Illusions of Security: Global Surveillance and Democracy in the Post-9/11 World." - www.amazon.ca

William Murtha is a writer, philanthropist and activist for issues related to personal, social and global transformation. The father of three daughters, he lives close to the coast in Devon, a UK county on the western fringes of Britain. He is a speaker and co-ordinator for the South-West region of British based Scientific and Medical Network, a forum which explores the frontiers of science, consciousness and spirituality. To read (free) preview chapters of his first published book, Dying for a Change, go to: www.transformationmediaboooks.com . William Murtha's gripping talk, Dying for a Change, based on the book and true account about his fight to survive hypothermia in the freezing cold waters off the coast of Britain, will astound and astonish. At a crucial time when his life was rapidly spiralling out of control, William was swept off his push-bike and out to sea by a twenty-foot freak wave. Drowning, losing consciousness and convinced that this was the end, he relived many pivotal moments from his past and experienced a life-changing conversation with a Higher Presence. William's compelling talk will inspire those attending to come face-to-face with their deepest fears about death and dying, and it challenges perceptions about emotions, life, God, miracles and why we are here. He will also share how a one in a billion miracle, (which was featured on the BBC's 999 TV series with Michael Burke), saved his life. www.williammurtha.com

For the past thirty-seven years, C.J. Good has been helping hundreds of men and women obtain a daily reprieve from excessive overeating, overindulgence and over consumption. C.J. Good participates in support groups all over the country. She has a distinctive understanding of the problems, repercussions and ramifications of their afflictions and is dedicated to providing assistance to those who still suffer. C.J. Good became something of a heroine for these men and women. But her journey to that place wasn't easy. In her early years, despite Good's career success in the investment management industry, she was a self-described "excessive overeater" and "over indulger." When she finally got a reprieve from the cravings, she began to get so many questions from people with similar life challenges, she decided to share her private affirmations in "Little Gifts of Sustainable Contentment." - www.sustainablecontentment.com

In this bombshell discovery - already reviewed and agreed by several PhD qualified academics in the UK - it is shown that Genesis chapter one has been built on the first 31 digits of pi, the world's most memorised number. Furthermore, it is shown for the first time that there exists a pattern within the digits of pi! The experts are so far unanimous - "You have a pattern!" After seven years of painstaking research this astounding breakthrough - so simple that its fundamentals could be illustrated by pre-school children - proves that a number pattern from pi (3.14159...) appears in eleven separate places within the Bible. Shockingly, this pattern is implanted within the human reproductive system in three different ways. A race greater than man has constructed the Bible and they are controlling today's world. In these last days of the present era they are telling us why we are here, and what happens next... - www.genesisgrid.co.uk

Marie Glet with a Masters of Art Degree from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and Doctor of Divinity Degree from the School of Metaphysics in Missouri is a professional artist, writer, wife, mother, grandmother, counselor, and spiritual teacher. Glet's parents, both artists, influenced her love for art. Glet has always known since she was a little girl that her life mission is to bring an important new element into the world of art. While growing up under the influence of a Communist system in the former Czechoslovakia, Glet had to hide her spiritual experiences, such as astral projection, telepathy, and miraculous healing. The exclusive materialistic explanation that was provided by the Communist system was not satisfactory to her. Therefore, soon after Glet immigrated to the United States, she started to seek answers that could not be answered by her religion or the former political system. She wanted to understand how she personally contributed to those supernatural experiences. Glet's spiritual journey started in California by practicing Hatha Yoga, followed by taking a seven-month course at You Metaphysical Institute in Los Angeles, then seven years of participation in Transcendental Meditation program in Chicago. For eighteen years Glet studied and taught students how to raise consciousness in the School of Metaphysics. She also became a director of one of their Chicago-area branches. As a professional artist Glet combines her love of art with devotion to her spiritual growth in her artwork. She applies her intuition and understanding of Sacred Geometry while sculpting, painting, and writing. Glet works in the Friends of Community Public Art Studio in Joliet, Illinois, as a leading artist creating murals, mosaics, and sculptures. She is also involved in painting and sculpting angels. She believes that her understanding of spirituality, which includes the importance of purpose, is the new element that she brings into the art world. Glet creates purposeful art. It means that she learns about her authentic self while creating it. She enjoys talking about her discoveries and loves to teach others to do the same. Glet gives lectures and TV and radio interviews educating people about the creative use of the mind. She also loves to counsel people to aid them to understand spiritual lessons in any of their everyday life experiences. She is available to aid anyone who seeks to learn to know his or her authentic self. - www.sharkaglet.com
