This week on What The F***, I sit down with my mentor Robb-former head of the Audio Department at the Art Institute of Nashville-for a candid conversation about music, madness, and everything in between.
We get into his time archiving Warner Brothers cartoon sound effects, the Wilhelm scream, and what it was like touring as a drummer with Bobby Goldsboro. He tells stories about bumping into celebrities, having his music stolen, and I confess some sins of late-night studio chaos that only happens when the grown-ups aren't watching.
It's raw, real, ridiculous...and all true.
Buckle the hell up, because this week's episode is a full-throttle rantfest about everything wrong on the road. We're talking bad driving, bad decisions, and the barely-functioning circus of chaos that is modern traffic.
We kick things off with a woman calling AAA for a flat tire...that the cops caused during a high speed chase...chasing Her, in a real-life Fast & Furious meets Jerry Springer scenario.
From there, we tally up roadkill points (RIP birds and turtles), dissect left-lane loiterers, and break down why your navigation app isn't a liar.
Also featured:
-Final Destination PTSD every time a logging truck shows up
-Speed limits as suggestions
-Road rage confessions
-Left-lane squatters
We also ask the big questions:
-Why is everyone suddenly a stunt driver the second it rains?
-Is it legal to yeet someone's phone out the window if they're texting through a green light?
This week's episode is a therapy session, a roast, and a middle finger to your worst driving pet peeves, all rolled into one. If you've ever fantasized about slapping a "GET THE F*** OUT OF THE LEFT LANE' bumper sticker on a stranger's Prius, this one's for you.
In this episode, we're covering the wild ride that is colonoscopy scheduling, prep, and the day-of-yes, it's as fun as it sounds. Then we run into a childhood friend's daughter at a strip club, watch a customer refuse to give up her place in the DMV line, and somehow manage to talk about puking in not one, but two helicopters.
If you've ever questioned how your week spiraled out of control, this one's for you.
This week on What The F***, we're joined by Melinda, a cabin rental owner in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, who's got WTF stories you won't believe (but sadly, they're all true). Guests breaking heavy log beds and dining tables? Check. Toilets smashed with pool balls? You bet. Moms renting cabins just so their teenage sons can throw beer-on-the-ceiling destruction parties? Of course. Guests casually leaving loaded guns behind? That too. People complaining about dryer lint behind the dryer? Yep. Influencers literally feeding bears pizza - because why not die stupidly? Uh huh. And yes, a review that will have you saying What The F***?
If you've ever searched "worst (insert rental company here) guests", "crazy cabin rental stories," or "why you shouldn't feed bears," this is your episode. Welcome to the smoky, slightly terrifying side of vacation rentals.

Season 2 kicks off with a wild ride. Katy, host of the What The Psychology podcast, joins us to talk about true crime psychology, hilarious emergency room stories, the tv show Criminal Minds, oddly efficient colonoscopy scheduling, DMV raging, and Harley Davidsons.
We did our best...but sometimes, our best was a complete disaster. Welcome to the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at What The F*** Season One-where we've compiled the funniest, weirdest, and most cringe-worthy outtakes from the season. From uncontrollable laughter to tech meltdowns, forgotten thoughts, and the moments we definitely should've edited out (but saved for this episode instead), it's all here. This episode is even more chaotic than usual, so if you're looking for structured storytelling...this ain't it.
Jake, Don and Sammie wrap up Season 1 with some funny and serious WTF moments. Please leave us a review or send us an email at [email protected]!
Dave stops by to share some Sailor Shenanigans from our South Texas days, some work related WTF's, and childbirth WTF's.
Sam, Don and Jake talk about identity theft, idiot content creators, idiots in general, and Mexican and Italian restaurants.

Welcome to The XMXperience.
It all started with an idea. An idea that almost became a political podcast… until we realized two things:
So instead, in December 2024, Jake teamed up with a coworker, Sammie (a Millennial), to ask a much better question: WTF? Not the headline-grabbing kind — the everyday kind. The moments that make you stop mid-sentence, stare into the void, and say it out loud.
Jake pitched the idea to Don, politics left firmly off the table, and throughout 2025 the three of them talked about...everything. Life, relationships, work, music, pop culture, personal stories, weird news, bad decisions, good intentions, and the random chaos that somehow connects it all.
Somewhere along the way, something clicked.
Two Gen-X guys and one Millennial gal turned out to be the perfect mix — different perspectives, shared sarcasm, unexpected insight, blooper reels that never should’ve seen daylight, and fits of laughter that sometimes hijacked the episode entirely. Thoughtful conversations collided with absolute nonsense, and that became the magic.
A year later, we’re still asking WTF — but the show grew into something bigger. Same conversations. Same voices. Same chaos. Just a clearer reflection of what it always was.
The XMXperience is a front-row seat to life’s unscripted moments — the ones that don’t fit neatly into boxes, the coincidences that feel a little too perfect, and the human experiences that remind us we’re all just winging it together.
Life doesn’t follow a script. It improvises, stumbles, and occasionally breaks into interpretive dance.
Welcome to The XMXperience — where the unexpected isn’t just entertained… it’s celebrated.
