There is no doubt, Cindy is an achiever! Upon reflecting on this episode, I've learnt two things:
1. Being and achiever is not an exclusive and elusive concept, it really does come down to your mindset and the clarity you have on what you want for your life.
2. Everything comes at a cost. If you're uber ambitious and career driven, you must accept the likelihood that other areas of your life won't match the level of success as your career.
You can contact Cindy via email on [email protected]
What an honest and candid conversation and I think you're going to take away a lot from this one, especially if you're an ambitious, career focused mother!

Who am I? A question that seldom gets asked, and even more rarely gets answered.

Have you achieved your goals for 2023?
Did you set goals for 2023?
If you're one of the 19% of people that a research study proved to achieve their goals, congratulations. If you're one of the approximately 50% of people whose goals went out the window in the first 6 months of the year, you may find this episode helpful!
As we look to 2024, I want us all to have the best possible chance of reaching our goals. This episode has taken research on goal setting and filtered it into what I believe are the nuts and bolts of good goal setting.
Thank you immensely for the tremendous support this year, onwards and upwards.

Performing when it matters charts the path to success in an exponential time frame. You'd be hard-pressed to find competing under higher stakes than in mixed martial arts. There is no escape. One thing is for certain, your preparation is going to be highlighted.
It is your preparation, that will largely dictate in how good a physical condition, you will walk away in. Professional EFC fighter, Jesse Schaper talks me through the mindset behind the intensity of his training, to be trained for the expected and the unexpected.
I liked how Jesse frames his fights mentally, as being on a never-ending quest to find out more about himself, and what he is made of. I believe it is a really productive and constructive way of reaching one's potential. Acting in a genuine state of curiosity and growth, rather than a fear of failure and being idle as a result.
