An exciting new chapter...
Today I have the pleasure of chatting with amazing young entrepreneur, Milimo Banji, also known as Mils, who is the founder of leading social-first creative agency TapIn.
He founded TapIn after dropping out of his Aerospace engineering degree because he couldn't ignore his calling to disrupt the early careers space and make a positive impact on the lives of other young people like himself.
Their mission is to prepare 100 million young people for the world of work.
TapIn won RAF Engineering (Royal Air Force Engineering) as one of its first clients before Mils even hired any team members. Less than 2 years later, TapIn's team has quadrupled and has had the pleasure of working with a whole host of other graduate employers including BT, Capgemini, UBS, Newton Europe and EY who also want to transform they way that they attract and engage Gen Z talent in the social media age that we now live in.
TapIn does this by creating the type of content that they know Gen Z are looking for. Content that's relatable, shareable and most importantly, valuable. The kind of content that positions your employer brand not only at the top of their minds, but also in their hearts.
Mils is a smart cookie, who has done a ton of placements at big name companies, such as Google, J.P. Morgan and McKinsey — just to name a few.
As an entrepreneur, Mils is a force of energy with a bright future ahead of him, and several hotshot mentors supporting him on his journey.

Today I am chatting with Vikas Garg, who is the Founder & CEO of abillion, a rapidly growing global internet platform on a mission to help a billion people live plant-based by 2030.
Abillion aims to change the way people eat and consume whether it be food or fashion or material objects in their lives. Their app not only helps people find plant-based food but also makes a real difference in the availability of that food, as abillion also seeks to encourage restaurants and hotels to become more plant-based. Think: TripAdvisor meets Instagram but for vegans and vegetarians.
In 2017, Vikas left his high-flying corporate career at one of the world's largest hedgefunds to pursue this venture as he felt he could do more for society and realised that the world did not need another fund manager, but it needed people to solve interesting problems — and he has not looked back since.
Abillion is one of the most well-funded start ups in the Asia Impact scene, closing a pre-Series-A $3 million round in 2020 and attracting high-profile investors like Room To Read’s John Wood.
Vikas has received Credit Suisse’s Global Citizenship Award, is a Young Leader of the Milken Institute, and a Charter Member of The IndUS Entrepreneurs.
By the end of this interview, you will gain insight into how to think like a non-profit, you will have an understanding of how to build a sustainable business with a socially-driven mission, and you will feel that you too can build a business that will leave a truly positive mark on the world.
