Fabricio DaSilva, Vice President of UFCW 1445 gives us an update on NETA, New England Treatment Access union campaigns as well as the campaign to bring back COVID19 hazard pay for Stop & Shop workers and those employed in healthcare.

Shekia Scott, the former Director of Community Outreach and Equity Programming at the state's Cannabis Control Commission. Within this position, she focused on promoting the inclusion  of communities disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs, marijuana prohibition, arrests and incarceration in the adult-use  marijuana industry. Shekia developed and introduced MA’s  first-in-the-nation, statewide, Social Equity Program, providing  technical assistance, training and opportunity for entry into the  industry across four areas with additional program benefits. Additionally, she co-founded the Boston Police Camera Action Team which successfully introduced community influenced policy and outfitted BPD with body cameras. This lead to her service as Policy Director and Neighborhood Liaison for Boston City Councilor and the first African American woman President of the City Council, Andrea Campbell.

NETA, New England Treatment Access cannabis dispensary employees speak on the ongoing mail-in Brookline, Massachusetts union election & troubling work conditions in Franklin, fires, aphids, mold, and COVID19. We find out that NETA Franklin has started to have fire drills since our most recent episode with Rob Cawley who stated that most employees hadn't been through a fire drill. As Cawley stated, "More fires than fire drills". Two of the employees speak on what went down during the latest fire at the Franklin location. They were both there.
