This episode will be dedicated to recalling many events shared between my Grandpa Phil and I. Though this will not be where his memory stops. He will live on in the various activities we do, in our memories and in our hearts.
"Phillip J. Kramper, age 73, of Arnold, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Beloved husband of Gloria Kramper; loving father of Kevin (Hannah) Kramper, Heather (Scott) Besch, and Judy (Ronnie) Lambert; loving grandfather of Brittany, Brandon, and Alex Lambert, Brooke (Jesse) Hanna, Lauren Besch, and Ella and Emily Kramper; loving great grandfather of Maddex Teague, Amelia Besch, and the late Aiden Bunch; dear son of the late Bernard and Emily Kramper; dear brother of the late Bernard Jr. (JoAnn) Kramper and Irene Sack; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Phillip was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two tours of duty, and a recipient of several medals and commendations for his bravery and conduct. He later retired from AAA Automobile Club of Missouri after 33 years of dedicated service. He was known by many for his BBQ, beef stew and dumplings, chili, and his famous Thanksgiving ham. He was a captivating and humorous storyteller and enjoyed feeding anyone who walked through his door.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 from 3-4 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO. 63129. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In accordance with government mandates and regulations related to COVID-19, only 10 people are allowed in the parlor or chapel at any one time.
