Theater In College Hoops

Unbelievable, man. UConn has officially entered blue blood status as they capture their FIFTH national title. What a performance throughout this whole tournament. I'm not sure they could have played better. Taylor & Subbi break down the final game as well as portions of the Final 4. Can't believe another season is in the books but thank you so much for your support and congratulations again to UConn

We are closing in on crunch time, folks. Final 4 weekend is upcoming and all eyes are on Houston. Cannot wait for this weekend so we decided to bring in great friend of the program, UConn fan, and all around good luck charm, Moyni. We talk everything about his time in Vegas watching the Husky domination and look forward to Houston as well. We talk a little Calhoun & Hurley and break down some of the best matchups that are on the horizon for UConn. I also throw my two cents in and discuss FAU/SDSU and forecast the x factors in both games. Can't believe we're here already. It's bittersweet.

Big ol episode coming your way today as we were lucky enough to welcome Dan Scott, the play by play man for the Furman Paladins. Dan tells us all about his perspective on the incredible upset over Virginia and goes into the prep work for a play by play man as he got ready for the tournament. We also relive some incredible moments for the Paladins not only this year but also in last years gut wrenching loss to Chattanooga. We also need to get Dan to call a baseball game. That's his dream and I want to see if we can help him achieve that! Taylor and I also talk about some of the big takeaways from Sweet 16/Elite 8 weekend. Thanks again to Dan for jumping on!

I love love. Read that again. I LOVE... love. That's why I didn't tweet theater and pump out an episode earlier this weekend. I can appreciate how terrible that looks but at the end of the day, life took precedence. And that's always gonna be the case. So if you'll accept my apology, then i'd like to discuss how disgusted I am with Arizona and Purdue. I'd also like to discuss how shocked I was that Kansas wilted and want to put on my best Tiger outfit and cheer on the men from Princeton. Watch out for Miami and UConn as well. Do not be shocked to see them in Houston. Finally, I'd like to talk about all of the coaching changes especially Cooley to Georgetown. Again, if you'll accept my apology then we can dive into all of those things. Let me know if you're able to do that.

This is the calm before the storm. The timeframe where we go back and forth on our picks. Make edits, pull hair out, get a stomach ulcer, rinse repeat. But we're officially locked in and ready to go so Taylor and I update our picks and we also recap some of the play in games. We also provide you with the proper rules and etiquette you need to follow for March Madness. We're here, gang! We made it! The best damn time of the year! Hug for us!

Nothing more breathtaking or beautiful than a fresh NCAA Tournament Bracket as it hatches and comes out of the printer. Taylor & Subbi provide their thoughts and analysis ranging from upsets to story lines and eventual regional champions. Injuries to look out for include Adem Bona, Marcus Sasser and Norchad Omier. We also can't stand this bracket. For some reason, this bracket has been the least enjoyable to fill out. Perhaps that means it will be the most rewarding. Enjoy the play in games!

Time to dive into the big boys of champ week. It's Jerome Week 2 and we got you covered with picks for the major players. We also chat a bit about Jim Boeheim, Jaylen Clark and the wild DePaul/Seton Hall ending. Next week....... we got a bracket!

Just a remarkably dramatic weekend to kick off conference tourney play and of course i'm referencing the love triangle between Tom Sandoval, Ariana & Raquel. Once we get past our Bravo bullshit we recap some incredible finishes in the mid major conference tourneys including UNC Asheville storming back to beat Campbell and a huge hat tip for Kennesaw State as they are going to their first tourney ever. Another great story is out of Cape Girardeau... SEMOOOOO is in the dance as well. We had to take a turn to negative town as well and highlight some 1 seeds that had their season cut short including Hofstra, Youngstown State and most of all EWU. We also chat about some of the big teams and their weekend. We finish it up with Get In My Belly & Good Things. We're in the depths of March now, folks!

Big episode as we welcome Taylor back and dive into a ton of different avenues. First Souley went BOUM against Providence breaking their home winning streak. Then we talk about how scorching hot Iowa is especially on the offensive end. We pivot to Bama outlasting Auburn in overtime... one of us just doesn't see Alabama as an elite 8 or final 4 team. We also had to give credit to Shaka Smart and the job he's doing at Marquette. Golden Eagles wrap up the outright Big East title and have one of the best teams in Marquette history. Then we touch quickly on the Zakai Zeigler injury, Caleb Grill's dismissal, dog poop in Louisville, Matthew Mayer's caffeine coma and more PAC 12 ineptitude. Taylor hands out some winners and we get outta here on Good Things. March is officially here!
