Rehearsals are starting up, so Tom stops by the Once Upon a Mattress Kickoff to talk with director Eric Schutt. This is Eric's first show with STC and everyone is excited for this new voice to guide our first show of the season. They talk about Eric's past theater work and some of his ideas for Dauntless, Winnifred and the whole gang.

Makayla Schuler returns to the podcast wearing her choreographer hat. Tom continues his interim hosting duties and talks with Makayla about her inspirations and process for approaching designing dance and what we can look forward to as Once Upon a Mattress starts production.

Welcome to Season 2 of Theater Stories! New music, new graphic and most importantly, new shows to talk about with Maggie and Morgan Everhard. Auditions are right around the corner but get the dish on the 25-26 STC season as we celebrate one year of STC podcasts!

For the final episode of the season, Maggie meets STC alum Ben Siegel at Cafe Diem to talk about his work after STC including directing a show at St. Olaf and a fascinating research project that utilizes aspects of theater with 3-5 year olds to explore emotional regulation.

It's our 50th episode! Huzzah! Today Maddie joins Maggie to enjoy a perfect evening outside to discuss Maddie's journey through STC and her days since at UW-Platteville and beyond. 

This week Maggie connects with STC alum Julia Divine in Boston. They talk about her time at STC and what she's been up to since including her overseas studies and the Boston theatre scene. 

Today we talk we Ben Eyles, an STC alum, about his winding path from STC to Walt Disney World. Ben and Maggie discuss how his roles in Charlotte's Web and Aladdin at STC and his gymnastics career at the University of Minnesota prepared him for his current role in Festival of the Lion King in Orlando.

Today, we continue our series of discussions with STC alum when Ember Biggs stops by to chat with Maggie about his experience in Los Angeles with The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. Ember they talk about the preparation behind the scenes of Ember's sketch show, last weekend in Nevada.

This summer we are excited to be hosting a series of podcasts talking with alums about their experiences after STC. Theatre offers a variety of paths after high school and we'll hear from quite a few. For the first show, Maggie keeps it close to home and talks to Harvey Haggas and Amelia Yoder about their time at the University of Iowa.

This week, we look back on the 24-25 season with our very esteemed guest, Gregorio the Crow who discusses his off-off-off-off Broadway work  that eventually led him to STC. G-the-C offers his unique perspective on the most recent STC season, from his roles on-stage and in the wings (pun intended).
