In this episode, I talk a little bit about Furbys and why they were creepy. Actually Furbys made me want to die. I’m so glad they aren’t made anymore.

TY Beanie Babies were a HUGE fad in the late 90s. I was obsessed with them, many children like myself, and even adults, could not get ENOUGH of beanie babies. So let’s talk about it in this podcast episode!

In this podcast episode, I go down memory lane of the 90’s kids hit tv show BARNEY. He was a giant purple dinosaur and...if you were a 90s kid...you DEFINITELY remember Barney...how could you not? Barney was loved by kid everywhere and hated by parents everywhere. Long live Barney the purple dinosaur.

Before we had smartphones like iPhone and android, we had the Nokia cell phones that looked like a brick and the phone screens were in black and white. There were also flip cell phones like the Razr phones. Or you had the slide up/swivel open phones like the Sidekick! Also, texting wasn’t easy, you had to push the button a certain number of times until you got to that specific letter you wanted! Boy we’ve come a long way with cell phones! In this podcast episode, I talk about my memories of old-school cellphones back in the day.

Remember Lisa Nova, Stevie Ryan, Tay Zonday of CHOCOLATE RAIN, Chris Crocker, Venetian Princess, or the Chapstick girl? YouTube was SO cool in 2006. It was more user friendly and felt like a community of great, talented and interesting people around the world. You could post any type of video, and people would find it interesting. YouTube is now more corporate with ads everywhere and doesn’t quite have the same feel as it did back in 2006.

Before iPods, iPads, and uploading music to your phone, there were HITCLIPS, you could listen to a minute of all your favorite songs from all your favorite singers and bands in the day. You were cool if you had them. They came in all different designs too.

Were you even a real 90’s kid if you didn’t know who the Olsen Twins were? In this episode, I talk about the Olsen Twins and their lives, some of my personal thoughts on them becoming famous before their 1st birthday, and some of my favorite Olsen Twin movies.

If you were a 2000’s kid like me, and a cool kid at that, then you had a MySpace page! In this episode, I started my first MySpace page when I was 15 years old. I talk about how creepy adult men would send me creepy messages knowing damn well I was underage, how parents hated MySpace, how important it was to be on someone’s top 8 and have the perfect layout and how your MySpace was an expression of your personality. Oh, and you actually had to GO ON AN ACTUAL COMPUTER TO USE MYSPACE! You could not use the Internet on your cell phone at the time! MySpace was the first real social media, and it took over the world for a few years...until Facebook came along and took over. Now MySpace is dead. Long live MySpace. We hardly knew ye.
