However, since the New York terror attack had only been a few days ago, that was discussed in more detail. In the course of this discussion, the following questions were explored: -Is it fair to say that Islamic Jihadists are getting their cues from the Koran? -Critiquing Islam is NOT racist! Islam is a religion and ideology; not a race! -Should our concerns be in the area of gun control legislation inasmuch as the New York terrorist did not use a gun and the Texas killer was stopped by a Good Samaritan citizen with a gun? -Does there really need to be a debate about concern for foreign terrorists vs. domestic?
