On this episode, I am honored to be joined once again by Stefan! We continue with our little niche by yet again discussing two films: 1999's remakes of THE HAUNTING and HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL. - Salem Horror Fest 2020 - Chippa is honored to be SHOOTING THE SHIT with Max Werkmeister - Writer / Director of Danni and the Vampire which premiered at SALEM HORROR FEST 2020!!! This film was a blast and it was fascinating to learn more about how the story came about, how the actors were found and what prior film from the directors film school days was technically a prequel of sorts! Synopsis: Danni and The Vampire is a western-influenced supernatural indie romantic dark comedy about a madcap drifter named Danni who tries to reignite a special feeling from her past by helping a vampire named Remy achieve his dreams. On this episode Chippa is joined by Chris Chipman... No my ego hasn't gotten so big nor have I gone so insane that I am interviewing myself... Turns out my Friend Mike knows ANOTHER Chris Chipman. Funny thing about that, Mike has known me as CHIPPA the whole time we've known each other, so he didn't even make the connection until recently. We have a great conversation about our family lineage and other geeky stuff. Enjoy!

- Salem Horror Fest 2020 - Chippa is honored to be SHOOTING THE SHIT with Megan Fitzgerald, Actor from the film Displaced!!! Which held its world premiere recently at SALEM HORROR FEST 2020!!! This film has stuck with me, particularly due to Megan's creepy turn as the films lead antagonist, Heather. Synopsis: A young black man in Brooklyn must prove his new white neighbors are emissaries from the Satanic cult they both survived as children. Danni and the Vampire

Madcap Romantic Horror Comedy

Written / Edited and Directed by Max Werkmeister

Danni and The Vampire is a western-influenced supernatural indie romantic dark comedy about a madcap drifter named Danni who tries to reignite a special feeling from her past by helping a vampire named Remy achieve his dreams.

Their destructive journey of self-discovery makes its World Premiere this October in the "Graveyard Shift" of the 51st Nashville Film Festival, alongside its premiere at Salem Horror Fest 2020.

Picture an episode of New Girl but with vampires and other supernatural stuff. The film has the horror / comedy mix of Genre favorites like Ash Vs. Evil Dead and has the style and witty dialogue of an edgar wright film.
