What does it mean to "buy the truth" and "sell it not"? Join us for the meaning behind this verse!

Do you know WHY there is a church here in the first place? The church is the only institution authorized by God to give the moral direction that the world so greatly needs today. The church is left in the world for the express purpose of winning others and for getting sons and daughters. The Gospel must be brought near to the people who need it.  If people are to be saved, they must hear the Gospel from the life of a believer. We have the greatest cause on earth...reaching for the salvation of lost humanity!

This message about our spiritual eyesight from Elias Limones will bless you. We need to have our eyes open to what God wants to do in our lives, in our families, and in our community! This is one of Pastor Dummitt's favorite messages from Elias Limones, and he highly recommends taking the time to watch it and reflect on it. Preached originally by Elias Limones at BOTT 2003 in Alexandria, LA.

What are we supposed to learn from the parable of the treasure hidden in a field? What is this treasure? Join us for another parable with Legos and find out!!

Each week of this Bible Study we will be talking about what the Word of God instructs and promises us. Then we will break it down into everyday real life and apply it. We need to willingly decide to use what God gives us to serve Him and bring Him glory, rather than to simply satisfy our desires. If you have been looking for a practical plan for training yourself to be more like Jesus and be a "generous giver" then this is a great session for you. Take God at His Word and apply this teaching to your life - just watch and see what God will do.

Object lesson with a flashlight on how we are to be the light of Jesus to our world. (This is a replay from a year ago, but it went with Sunday's lesson. Apologies that the editing is not great. I've learned a lot in a year!)
