Clara Bellino returns with the announcement of her new album and announces the title for the first time, sharing a track from it and Heather Whitney joins us for the first time with her new music and story.  We also introduce a new track from previous TDBA award winner Matt Evan Johnson.

Nashville's hot new indie rockers, Forest Fire Gospel Choir and Ontario, Canada's Mikalyn Hay are our guests on this week's TheDavidBowersAwards.

FFGC is a 5-man group from Music City USA who play an interesting mix of indie rock with touches of the deep South and Southern Rock.  Injuecting the soul of each of the five members from different parts of the country, they come up with a sound of their own that is at once original and commercially potent.  We debut their newest release.

Mikalyn Hay is one of those rare finds who has talent that belies her age of 16!  This  Canadian high schooler has an amazingly unique 'signature' sound that is both world weary yet young and fresh.  She has an amazing list of accomplishments and awards already and is surely destined to become a name to be reckoned with in pop music.
