Who’s in your ear?

I was thinking about Tres leches cake the other day, and I kind of made a knock off version at home. And it got me thinking about layered cake and then it got me thinking about the layers of my self and women. It reminded me the being layered and dynamic is one of my favorite things about myself.

Realizations about yourself, who you’re supposed to be, what you’re supposed to be doing, and who you’re supposed to be doing it with all come from the simplest thing. God is real and prayer works.

I was at work and out of frustration a co worker shouted “thank you God!” As i was walking by i joined in her praise with an “Amen”. No matter if it’s praise and worship or beliefs of any kind, don’t hide or diminish those parts of you. All of you and what you are rooted in are worthy of acceptance with the right tribe.
