peace! continuin' the build out - on this episode we got a crazy live performance clip from our bass ace Juan Alderete, goin stuuupid on stage with hella pedals & effects as usual. if you came out to the Deltron Event 2 tour, you mighta seen him playing this same bass. main pedal he's rockin' here is the Boss VB-2, if you a bass player you might want to have one in your arsenal.

Peek Juan's latest drop in the 'Vato Negro' BUMPERS series: HERE

For the series, Juan teams his bass, pedals & effects with Nashville drummer Matt Sherrod (Beck, NOFX, Macy Gray, etc) for some experimental instrumental rock, exploring sounds from prog and metal to hip hop and indie rock.

we back with another lil treat, this time from Po3 & CTZN, to carry on with the warm-up.

this one's a lil album called "Life" that they had made around the time we was on the Deltron tour, and it had some of the tracks they were performing when they opened up. Half the record ended up gettin aborted due to some sample complications, with only a few singles ending up widely released. Enjoy it in its original form, only streaming here on the podcast.

download the FLAC/wav/mp3 etc over on bandcamp.

The tracks "The Animal's Instinct", "Seriously" and a couple others can be found on DSPs as loosie singles.

peace!

30 years ago Del made the pilgrimage out east to appear on the legendary Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito radio show, where freestyling off the top of the head live on the air was a rite of passage for aspiring emcees of the early 90's.
