  • Salvation through Surrender

    Send us Fan Mail

    Musings with Adnan Mahmutovic

What if a book written 1400 years ago holds relevant guidance to everyone that believes there’s more to this life?

Wouldn't telling someone to stop being a muslim be considered a form of thought control?

The field seems saturated at times with misinterpretations about what it means to walk a path of surrender and submission but if we try to stay curious we can literally expand our universe to include every path in life as long as it leads us home to ourselves.

My guest in this episode is a Bosnian-Swedish writer and lecturer at Stockholm University. His works include Visions of the Future in Comics(McFarland Press, 2017), Ways of Being Free (Rodopi, 2010), Thinner than a Hair (Cinnamon Press, 2010) and How to Fare Well and Stay Fair (Salt Publishing, 2012). He leads an MA in Transnational Creative Writing at Stockholm University.

  • Success & Spirituality

    Musings with Admir Skodo

Many follow a well established spiritual path without thinking much about the deeper meanings of that path. My guest today said at one point that he has more questions than answers and I would say that this might be a healthy sign. To keep wondering and to keep asking….

Is there only one way to pray?

What is true success? Could it for example be that you keep following your dreams without losing you soul?

How can Sweden which is supposed to be one of the most civilsed countries support genocide and side with a state that says its ok to kill children?

Is there a reason for why there’s a wave of hating on muslims just coz they’re categorised as muslims?

Do muslims pray to an empty cube?

Do ghosts come with a message or code that can help us navigate this world? at least in fictional writings

What other questions do you have? Do you dare to wonder or is that considered advanced philosophy of some sort? I believe we all wonder, contemplate and ¨philosophise¨ in different degrees and I invite you to join us in this episode for just that.

Admir is a writer and researcher based in Brussels, working at the intersections of fiction, political philosophy, and migration studies.

His academic research focuses on refugee studies, immigration policy, and the history of political thought. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute and has published widely on migration, sovereignty, and the politics of migration.

Through both fiction and essays, he nvestigates what it means to exist in states of transition — the experiences, memories, meanings/meaninglessness that emerge from movement across borders and boundaries.

    Musings with Adam Montén

Will you allow yourself to imagine, fantasise and philosophise in order to know yourself better?

The WHO speaks of 4 dimensions to health but it seems like one of them is not taken as seriously as the others. What if that specific dimension is what the rest of them rely on?

Freedom is never complete without responsibility and accountability. Adam who among many things is a paragliding pilot tells us more about how he takes his sport responsibly. What I like about it is that it- in his own words- keeps your ego at check because the wind has-in my own words- a soul that has to be respected.

Listen to this episode where we talk about relationships, religion, death, Egyptian Goddesses and much more

    Enjoy…

  • Too Small to Make a Difference

    Send us Fan Mail

    Musings with Dr Eric Secher

We all make a difference. The question is what difference do we want to make?

Do we want to be like the Fifa millionaire Infantino who during the World Cup flew a distance equivalent to nearly two and a half times around the globe in a private jet? Or do we want to be a humble person who shares truths others might not see so that we can evolve as a species? Infantino’s travel habits during the group stage alone generated as much carbon dioxide as the total air travel of 78 people over the course of a full year, according to the BBC. Seeing examples of how we don’t want to make a difference might in a way help us evolve too ofcourse.

Meet my humble guest and surgeon who says he’s always been open to be proven wrong in what he shares.

I’ve personally noticed that the people who say that, are usually the more trustworthy because they’re not identified with their opinions and seek reality as it is, without any manipulation.

An ideology that has been the reason people feel identified with both their opinions and their dream country is zionism I think.

It also happens to be a perfect example in wanting to make non zios believe that they “don’t understand” and that “they’re too small to make a difference.” That it tries to convince people that the most advanced army in the world has the right to kill a people without an army, children and civilians in the 1000s and then call themselves the victim.

I’ve really been appreciating Jason Hickels videos when they show up in my social media feed, but somehow I didn’t connect him to his name when Dr Eric asked.

His book “Less is more” is next in the pipeline.

We also talk about the illusion of infinite economic growth, climate change and spreading awareness. Enjoy this episode where Dr Eric generously shares about his journey with understanding zionism and its connection with the capitalistic colonial empires while feeling inspired by the young Swedish woman Greta

  • How to Maintain a Monster

    Send us Fan Mail

    Musings with Daniel Mate…

An apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Both Daniel Mate and Gabor Mate are jews that courageously explain the psychology behind zionism. We’re all indoctrinated to some degree but this man-made ideology is the reason for so much harm and suffering in our world today. It’s really beyond what words can describe.

Daniel and his father Gabor have co-authored the book The Myth of Normal https://share.google/TBrcPIyhQUyA4j14Awhich highlights the illusion of normalcy and how it´s become a toxic cultural template in our modern society.

Daniel holds a B.A in psychology and philosophy and has his own podcast together with Matt Lieb called ¨Bad Hasbara¨ https://www.youtube.com/@Badhasbara

Daniel also recently became an actor in his first movie 🎬 ‘‘Occupational Hazards”. It’s a satirical movie, directed by Bassel Ghandour, recently shot in Jordan which I personally can’t wait to see.

I agree with Daniel on many things like the psychopathy that underlies zionism and keeps it active, also the lunacy of the zionist regime of Israel. It’s built on creating monsters of ordinary Palestinians to keep claiming more of their land.

In this episode we talk about how to maintain a monster to keep zionism functioning. I've heard many jews express their fear of rising anti semistism not because they're jews per se but because of the atrocities carried out by the zionist regime in the name of jews. Many also express agressions and threats by zionists themselves, especially if they speak up against it. The genocide against the Palestinians that started more than 2 years ago and is still ongoing has changed me to the core. The gaslighting, the supremacy and evil that shows up in different forms to justify genocide is incomprehensible. But what we keep forgetting is that in the end evil destroys even itself

A big part of why this type of evil has managed to spread in such a way is that we ordinary people have allowed it. I think it’s unprecedented though to see evil exposed in such a blatant and audacious way, which is an excellent opportunity to face it together. The interesting study that I mentioned in the pod about power, evil and calling eachother out is linked here https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23815455/

I was reminded in this episode how important it is to be precise in my words about this sensitive topic so as not to conflate judaism and zionism. Even if historically Jews played a disproportionate role in the Hollywood entertainment industry in the 1930’s, they faced antisemitism and now it’s the zionists that control a big chunk of the narrative in major news outlets. This is shown by a comprehensive tracking of CNN, MSNBC and print institutions like The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times, that revealed highly lopsided terminology. Strongly emotive, condemnatory adjectives like “slaughter,” “massacre,” and “barbaric” were used thousands of times to highlight the comparatively few Israeli casualties, but were entirely omitted when the same publications reported on the countless Palestinian civilians killed by Israel. Media is a major way of how we get indoctrinated

I feel hopeful that so many Jews are standing up and saying that the genocide carried out by Israel is not in their name. Many examples like Jewish voice for peace and David Spevak https://www.instagram.com/reel/DY5Ij4-JQrp/?igsh=ZThjbGxsbjY2bHE2  whose father fought in the idf against Egypt my country, explains in a very grounded and rational way how many Jews have been indoctrinated and how he himself can see that now.

I´m grateful for this episode with Daniel and share his view of that there’s light at the end of the tunnel even if it’s a slow process. Let’s pray together that it hastens...

    Musings with Per

Something caught my attention in my last two podcast episodes. The guests independently expressed their concerns about AI.

This made me want to have an episode dedicated entirely to what happens if we allow superintelligence to be created

    So here it is.

I wasn’t completely prepared to hear what I heard but I’m glad I did because when we connect some dots, more things start to make sense even if it’s impossible as humans to get the full picture

Listen to Per Shapiro who adds an extra layer of thought about what AI really is...

    Per has his own podcast where he talks about this important question;
