Thank you for listening and making 2020 a great year for my podcast. I’m looking forward to bringing Weekly News Bites, multiparty mini-series, conversations with special guests, and personal check-ins in 2021.

We faced many challenges in 2020 and from those challenges came hard lessons and personal growth. This is my take on 2020 and what I’m looking forward to in 2021.

Negligence by law enforcement cost Breonna Taylor’s life to be taken and for Kenneth Walker to be racially profiled and have his rights violated. Justice has not been served based on the statements of officers and witnesses.

Breonna Taylor was murdered by the reckless bullets of Louisville police however we cannot forget that there was a second victim that night; Kenneth Walker.

We need to be just as passionate about fighting for the living as we are in avenging the dead. Breonna Taylor was not the only victim of police negligence. Kenneth Walker was victimized that night as well.

As we go through life we will be hurt and encounter people that don’t have our best interests at heart. That doesn’t mean we have to pass that pain on to our children.
