This episode I read several poems that I wrote when I was first diagnosed with OCD in 2019.  Poetry holds a big spot in my heart and I believe it can be healing and therapeutic.  Words on a page can be a beautiful escape from your headspace.

Hello everyone!  This week's episode is on Just Right OCD, or stereotypically known as 'perfectionism.'  I detail my intrusive thoughts that come along with Just Right OCD and get into why this theme of OCD is referred to as perfectionism, as there is truth in the name.  Stick around if you want to hear why taking a break from 'the grind' is so important-- and why that language needs to stop.

This episode I talk about Sexual OCD/Pedophilia OCD and the intrusive thoughts that leave miserable every time I experience a major episode of stress in my life.  I also get into explaining to non-OCD sufferers how to navigate a loved one's intrusive sexual thoughts, as they can be incredibly distressing to not only the person experiencing them but the person hearing about them as well.
