The Pharisses question Jesus about whether or not to heal on the Sabbath. Jesus sees a man with a withered hand and heals them. It is always ok to help someone in need.

The Pharisses try to trick Jesus by saying if it is lawful to heal on the Sabbath. They do this right after Jesus said he was Lord of the Sabbath.
