Jesus answers the Pharisees by saying that Priests work on the Sabbath and yet are guiltless. Basically Jesus is telling the Pharisses that they are not following the spirit of the law.

Jesus reminds the Pharisees that King David ate the bread of the presence because he was hungry. This bread was reserved for priests alone, but since David was hungry it was allowed. The Pharisees would also have to condemn King David if they wee oing to condemn Jesus.

This week's episode is a couple days late because I had to switch topics last minute. My facebook feed was full of arguments against the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. In this week's episode I decided to defend the Eucharist using scripture.

Jesus and his disciples are walkng through a field of wheat, and because they were hungry they plucked some of the wheat. The Pharisees accuse them of harvesting which is a violation of the law.

Jesus encourages those with worries of this life to come to him. His yoke is easy and the burden lite.

Jesus prays and gives thanks for those who receive his words with a child-like faith.

Jesus says that Sodom will be more tolerable on the day of judgment than Capernaum. This is an analogy for those who knew Christ, but have fallen away.

Jesus laments about Jewish cities who see his miracles and yet reject him.

Jesus transitions from speaking about John the Baptist to himself. He is ridiculed, and there is a hidden call for his death.

The unbelievers of Christ's generation refuse his message. In turn he calls them out on their excuses.
